You are utterly deluded if you think critics of Pardew are now having to eat their words. He is an incredibly limited manager and it would be a travesty if this set of players only ever get to play under him. I didn't use that phrase so, no, it's not what I think. It may well come to that, like. I will praise him for certain things and think he has integrated the new players well and they look at home, shows good man management at times and has got more out of our weaker players at times. He falls down constantly with his tactical abilities though and ability to change games is extremely limited - Shola was getting ready just before the 3rd goal yesterday - which would have just led to his plan B of more aimless punts up field. Now i'm not saying to sack him, I am just questioning what we do in training and we quite simply don't look fluid, we look like a bunch of individuals thrown together a lot of times. I would be expecting a lot more from the players we had on show yesterday and to be able to retain the ball a lot better

Pure rubbish. We scored 4 goals yesterday yet we clearly don't work on our attacking play? Unfortunately after our poor first half of the season, where Pardew admittedly made mistakes, it seems some people have simply decided he can do virtually nothing to redeem himself. I have watched every game this season, the only thing that has changed is the fact we have Sissokho, Gouffran and Debuchy which has altered the dynamics, however I maintain my stance that we clearly don't work on becoming a more fluid outfit, our moves do often break down to easily and our goals tend to come from some kind of luck rather than well thought out play. We to often look like we don't have a clue when we have the ball. Yes it was a good win but we look anything but a fluid outfit imho. And we certainly don't work on free kicks, it's always the same shitty routine for corners and free kicks. Watch other teams Southampton included and how they break at teams and retain the ball for most part, look 10 times more dangerous than us (Yes I know we beat them). I have no doubt we are getting wins despite Pardew, not because of some well thought out plan by him, because that is not what I am seeing
  3. Would be strange since so far Pards has allowed him to attack more than ever before. Just cynical, i'm sure he will be allowed to, just so used to Pards trying to defend rather than attack (bringing Perch and Anita on when I would have went for more goals)
  4. Dear god. I really think some people may have missed just how bad Krul's kicking is, Elliot's kicking is miles better even though its not great

I question whether we work on Attacking play or general play at all in training as we look anything but a fluid outfit. We can't seem to retain possession very well, are far to static and generally our play breaks down far to easy. I think they just concentrate on defending and organisation which is quite hilarious as we leak goals left right and centre and look anything but organised. Honestly don't really know what they do on training pitch, certainly not set pieces, counter attacking, movement or anything regarding a tactical plan
  6. He really class, imagine what he will be like when he gets fully used to this league - although pards may well knock any signs of class out of him and remind him to defend, defend, defend
  7. Thought he was fine as game went on. Good save for FK, I thought he positioned himself to far to his right but got across well. At no fault for the goals and generally did alright - looked better than Harper for me, what exactly were people expecting from a number 2 who hasn't played many games? - even teams like Chelsea, Man City etc don't have great cover in Goalkeeper positions.
  8. To think Ben Arfa is to come back for last few games, there is no chance we will go now. Qpr are gone imho, reckon it will be Villa and Reading with them
  9. It's so tight in bottom half of table, win tomorrow and we could be 12th above Scum, Norwich, Southampton and West Ham (Depends on scores) and only 3 points off 10th with games against Stoke and Fulham coming up
  10. Not to concerned about Elliott being in. Not as good as Krul obviously but not the worst by the looks of it
  11. Win our next 2 games and then butt fuck the russians all over the place in Moscow, lets have it
  12. You would think it would be fine. Sissokho seems intelligent in his play and reckon him and Ben Arfa will work well together and cause all sorts of problems for teams. They can interchange if required I reckon to give opposition defence different problems. Also possible to switch Gouffran and Ben Arfa throughout the match to mix it up. Potentially very exciting to watch
  13. I'm sure pardew is looking forward to playing: Cisse Gouffran - Sissoko - Ben Arfa Cabaye - someone as soon as possible. If we get this team out this season, we will hurt somebody real bad. Fairly confident of that Oh and hope its the mackems btw it'd be beyond hilarious to decimate them in the derby and finish above them in the league after the first half of the season especially after all their gloating and going on about shit, they are 2 points of us man 2 points - lunatics the lot of the inbred fuckers
  14. Looks class - some quality interceptions last night and seems to cover ground very well. Looks strong, quick and very competent with the ball at his feet. So good having 3 good Centre Halves until end of season with him also able to cover Right Back in emergencies. Hopefully we will sort out Colo thing in summer and replace if he does go. Who would we get though that would be near that level for a reasonable fee. Quick to the Carr phone
  15. I'm sure pardew is looking forward to playing: Cisse Gouffran - Sissoko - Ben Arfa Cabaye - someone as soon as possible. If we get this team out this season, we will hurt somebody real bad. Fairly confident of that Oh and hope its the mackems btw

  17. Looked pretty good, quick to close down and tried to stay on his feet. Very promising, maybe not as good as Santon going forward but looks a bit better defensively (Possibly because he keeps his position). Good to have competition and full back cover for both sides. Means we no longer have to worry about right/Left with Haidara, Santon, Debuchy, Mbiwa, Simpson all capable to some degree of playing there
  18. Cabaye, Krul and Sissoko all took heavy knocks, let's hope they're okay. Hope so, aye saw that but they should be fine I would hope. be good to get the league points now
  19. plus poin, looks like no real injuries and Debuchy, Santon, Tiote and Gouffran back for Southampton. Win that game and this season may have a happy ending
  20. we need to drive forward and have a bit of movement. Not playing bad but shocking in their half.
  21. I'd play Anita in there with Cabaye and Sissokho. Marveux on left and allowed to drift, Shola up front (To keep Cisse if required) and Jonas on right. Although Pards said Jonas struggles with 2 games in a week. Would definately drop one of Colo or Taylor for Mbiwa in centre as can't risk 3 CB injured for Sunday. we should just go at them from the off, get the early goal and settle down
  22. Doubt Cisse, Sissokho n Cabs will play. need them for Southampton which is a must win. I would play Marveux, Anita and Shola instead.
