It's got to the point that its pointless even trying to work out why he makes the decisions he does. They just keep coming followed by the same old sound bites post match. I mean saying we lacked some punch without Shola being available, I do find it odd that so many of the journalists give him such ringing endorsements on the radio. This season has been the worst I have seen us play for a very long time. especially from an attacking point of view. Yesterday we were so slow and static when we had the ball. No movement at all. Other teams attack as a team. We watch one player with the ball and wait for them to come to us. We need more width as well. Jonas and Ben Arfa just aren't effective wingers. They provide no valuable width whatsoever. Our midfield pass the ball sideways and then launch it. It's just horrific to watch

I like how when we do I'm more worried about the opposition scoring as a result of the keeper being miles out of the goal than I am confident we'll score from it. Exactly the same In a way, it's an incredibly brave tactic from Pards and he should be applauded for being so cavalier. This approach is far too gung ho though, rather we were a bit more conservative and negative in our football. The excitement of watching Williamson leap like a salmon trying to reach the lofted ball from our keeper is a wonderful sight I prefer the camera shots as him and his hair flop back towards the defensive line, especially the ones when he's bemoaning the fact that he just didn't quite make it.
