Fair play to Gordon, absolute athlete and his pace is electric.

Need cover though, the lack of pace in premier League is a problem when either are not there. Love Burn to bits but he can't play there, Trips lost so much pace etc

Right and Left back a real worry, slow as fuck and our weakest areas with Hall and Tino out, needs a solution in January. Our midfield functioning well with Bruno, Miley and Ramsey.

That was fucking ridiculous by Trippier, just needed to lay it off or blast it. Miley, Pope, Murphy, Thiaw and Botman been mint. Woltemade obviously as well, just next level awareness when involved.

He was there most of the time when should have had better service.

Isn't two footed despite him thinking he is, just needs to focus on the basics and head up to see Woltemades moves, if we get it into him it just changes the play completely and I hope we find ways to consistently do it. Then when Wissa back if he ever appears for us can be that bit more direct.

Last thing, Brighton are a good, well put together team like Bournemouth and no mugs so no shame getting beat, just think there looks so much wrong with how we attack these days.

Did think we played quicker and better football with Ramsey, Murphy and Barnes on. Started to move the ball well, maybe can't play Joelinton and Bruno in that 3 together as too slow on the ball and off it.

We can still get to 5th or 6th as form for teams currently there will dip but we need a run of wins badly.

Playing Trippier and Burn at full back isn't helping against pace, also midfield left defence exposed today, their midfield finding the pockets all the time and we didn't bother closing the gap. Problem with Burn and Trips at full back is fuck all pace and then when attacked back off into our box or go full in and get done for pace. Can only play one of them and think maybe need to go with Thiaw/Kraft on right and Trips on left. Thought Thiaw and Botman played well, midfield 3 were a bit shit and wingers in first half fucking dreadful. Not sure Gordon or Elanga suit how we need to play with Woltemade now, Murphy at least seems to get it with trying to bring him into play.

Unfortunately it's likely he will gain some form and start banging them in, he's good good not to. I just hope for an injury at the weekend that stops that happening and piles on the pain

Isak was great because Eddie made him that way, Woltemessi will be the same if he takes on board the words of Eddie. Hope Isak doesn't rediscover any form/falls off some sort of cliff.

Howe and the team being able to work with him for next 2 weeks could help massively, shame Elanga would be away. Also our defence aren't away at all so huge opportunity to fine tune the back 4.

He's been an excellent signing and hope he sticks around as part of squad/role at the club but there's times where the pace of opposition shows his weakness now.

He will be 36 next season, wonder if we try to get a replacement in January given Tono and Hall injuries

He pops up everywhere and still seems fit enough at end of every game, absolute machine

Technique on his penalty was great, hits the ball so well.

He looks like he will only get better and that we are starting to adapt to little plays using him. Some fantastic passing phases today and his awareness, fuck me phenomenal at times and makes the game look easy. Feel he may have more in his locker than Isak even if he doesn't have the pace. Needs to start falling over when being man handled though and be nasty. He looks a handful for all the defenders he's played against and forest couldn't cope with him, he dragged them into midfield so often.

The technique he has shouldn't be possible given his stature, also his awareness of everything around him and ability to hold off his marker. Can see him being a huge part of any success we have this season.
