I'm starting to think we need better players alongside Tonali as for everything he does so well Bruno and Joelinton slow it all down, hold onto it or play shit passes. Saying that Tonali is on another level, just a top top midfielder.

For a 6ft 7 player it's mental how good he is with ball at his feet, the close control and awareness of where his options are.

He looks class, seems aware of players around him and plays through the lines as well.

Elanga, Woltemessi, Tonali, Thiaw and Botman standouts for me, all of them look a class above the rest.

Woltemade just looks so good when we find him. Concerning is just how shit Joelinton, Gordon and Bruno look

I think at times we need more patience about us, play it about, recycle the ball more and try to work openings. We rush it, lose it and then defend a lot.

I would go with Murphy/Elanga whipping them in more to mix it up because the Trippier ones are shocking, Tonalis ok but sometimes a bit more pace would help.

I trust Howe completely, but I can't see what the plan is when we have the ball so much. Whatever we are trying isnt working and our creativity/counter/progression tends to break down through shit passing, lack of concentration, not being aware of our options, movement predictable. Even with Isak in this team I fail to see how results would be different, we aren't creating enough at all.
