He's just spent the best part of 260m, I think it's pretty fair to judge him if nowhere near Europe considering how teams like Bournemouth, Palace, Brighton, Brentford play and perform with a whole lot less spent. The squad is shit because he's held out for these players in some cases and there were probably cheaper options to sit on the bench or be awful like Elanga. He knew he had issues if Tino or Hall were injured as lost Targett and thought Burn and Trip could cover and they can't do it. I'm backing Howe despite this seeming otherwise but he had could and should have improved the squad even with the Isak shit. Other teams have lesser players and playing a whole lot more coordinated than we are.

For me it's Ramsdales distribution given more options, Pope launches it and it's coming straight back at us. Needs to try him, noticed when Dubravka played that spell last season we played better football.

We scraped past Fulham and Wolves, Forest we did well and Liverpool. Better in the cups. In terms of team Howe doesn't seem to want to rotate out Joe, Gordon or Pope when fit and I get why stuck with Burn and Trips with not many other options but then need to adjust in front of that. A different midfield 3, attacking patterns or whatever, a keeper that can play a ball to try and beat press. Playing a 4231, playing Miley instead of Joelinton, trying Gordon right and Barnes left. Anything but he's stuck with same team every time.

We are 2 points off Burnley, Leeds, West Ham and 3 off Forest, how can you be sure we aren't heading the other way as looking up the table we aren't better than any of them right now. The 3 teams we have beaten are below us

Are we though, I just don't see how we improve. We could be looking at 4 points max from next 6 or 7 games taking us up to xmas, maybe 6 points at a push, That's 18 points from 18 games, not great and don't see how we beat City, Everton, Spurs (In league), Mackems, Man U or Chelsea playing like this.

We won't be in the league at this rate, we are worse than just about every team. We got battered at West Ham, struggled against Wolves, struggled at Leeds. Whatever quality we have hasn't shown

If form doesn't pickup the Mackem game could be the end of Howe. Man City, Everton away and we never get anything in those, Spurs at home and Burnley at home before that game. Can see maybe 3 or 4 points from that and then if we get beat at the dark place no one will be backing Howe or the players. Genuinely think we are in a relegation battle at this point, we look horrific and not sure what's going to change other than preying Tino and Wissa back soon. I know this seems dramatic but we have been dreadful and disjointed in every game pretty much and don't look confident at all. This isn't the team that finished 5th and won a cup last season and it looks stale, boring and no attacking intent.

I like Burn in the centre so hope when he's back he replaces Botman alongside Thiaw and maybe he needs to consider how to sort full back positions

Howe has had 2 seasons to get full back cover and doesn't bother, he clearly still rates Burn and Trips there and they can't cut it. A cheap full back or even signing a walker peters on a free would have made sense. We could have picked up a cheap winger from Europe that would have faired better than what we have. He has Ramsey now and won't play a 4231 to try and create more. It's side to side and lose the ball. Couple of seasons ago we rolled over some teams, we don't look capable of scraping even a draw now. Howe could bring through and develop younger players but he won't, look at Miley not getting a sniff when team struggling.

It's not just a dodgy patch, it's relegation form. We look worse than every team we play. Beating shit Wolves and Fulham teams at home by a single goal and struggling throughout. Not one convincing performance in league this season

It was his business and he signed 5 players, now he keeps playing Pope, Murphy. Can't get a performance out of Bruno, Gordon and others. Now signs Tonali etc suffering with it. It's shit and he won't change our style or formation. It's slow and shit and inevitable we put ourselves under pressure. He has Miley and Ramsey on bench and persists with Joelinton. Whatever the rebuild looks like not sure I trust Howe to lead on the transfers.

Thiaw has been the only player doing their job consistently. He's been excellent, the rest have been fucking awful
