I think its a good thing that our young players will be getting a chance now. We just have to forgive them their mistakes and not be harsh on them in games. Encouragement is the way to go. With him, carrol, vuckic, Lua Lua, Kadar, Krul, Ferguson, Baheng, Donaldson etc we have some very talented naive youngsters but with a bit of confidence and experience they may be our saviour over the next season or so. Would love to see one grab a place permanently in this team like

Think not playing guthrie would be a mistake like. He was pulling the strings against huddersfield in mid week his passing and spreading of the play justifies him starting like. I think he could be a major assett to us if he ups it a notch and starts running games

For all Jonas faults he puts the shits up the opposition full backs they have to double up on him. Him and enrique together could be key this season as enrique likes someone to play off and get down the wing and no one else does this except jonas.

guthrie and barton in midfield will provide enough chances for anyone both for me are key due to their movement and passing. They both give much more that taylor or butt for me. Would still play nolan maybe off ranger again and play lua lua left midfield. So Harper Simpson Taylor Colo Enrique Barton Guthrie Smith Lua Lua Nolan Ranger Although I think its going to take time for ranger and lua lua to look any good don't think we have much choice and think the games will do their confidence good.

Noone says he is the finished article. But I for one would rather try him out and see. Its the ideal league I don't have faith in promotion and would rather we tried the young players out. Older players have bad habits. These lads don't. They lack experience but do not looked that scared. Look at carrol. He may not have hit any heights yet but we have to give him games

Harper is a good 2nd keeper but will always be found out as a number one. He has been a good servant but will never be a number one. He can't command his area. He does not push the players around. I see that already from Krul. Get a fucking grip, We potentially have a good keeper that could be here for years and ther is no doubting that and I think he is worth the spot this year

The one thing he give us is he runs at defenders and they don't like it. He needs to work on a lot of things but I think his pace and skill and the fact him and jose seem to work together makes him valuable this season in an otherwise slow midfield

I believe 100% that alan shearer is the right man to manage this club. I think he brings the authority, common sense and passion it takes to manage this club. as did robson, as did keegan. Gullit, daglish, allardyce etc never failed because they were not geordies. They failed because they did not have a clue, They did not have passion or understand this club. I think other managers could have succeeded but the ones we had made the wrong decisions time and time again. Newcastle fans arfe knowlegable about football always have been however most our managers and the press have misunderstood that for being to ambitious

And p.s. harpers kicking is shit, like givens was and both never commanded their area. I saw give from the moment he signed and him and harper have never commanded their area. Like david james, van der sar, reina etc. A keeper is not just there to save the shots and boot it up field. They have a part to play in the tactical game also
