  1. He's just an utter shithouse. Needs selling to some Championship rubbish like Doncaster stupid enough to take him. Until now I'd have defended the extremity of that post, but I can't at the moment unfortunately.
  2. Think he hasn't been too bad when he's been on the ball tbh. Unfortunately the majority of the time it's been too far out left. Yeah, he hasn't been too bad (other than those free kicks), but generally, I'm not a massive fan of his playing style, he has a questionable first touch, and often slows the game right down. Admittedly he has the odd clever pass in him, as we saw with the pass to Cisse. At the top of each of their games, I'd have Cisse over Ba easily. Cisse started well today, but faded as the half went on.
  3. Shite! I'm done hoping Jonas has anything left in him, it's fucking criminal that he's keeping Marveaux out of the team, his crossing is atrocious.
  4. Other than Ba's goals, I don't particularly like him as a player (And yes, I appreciate the goals, we need them).

    Injured XI

I was expecting to see this for just Newcastle.

    Loïc Remy

Anita should be in our strongest 11 going by how quickly he's improved.
  7. It's only really been this season he's looked truly off form imo. His season was broken up last season with injury and suspension, but he still turned in some immense performances. He fucking owned Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. I'm not ready to write him off after half a season off poor form (which has also been broken up by injury and suspension).
  8. You might be right. There was a time when our LB position was so weak that Jonas was really required to help out, and it might have permanently changed his game for good. A bit like what Fergie did to Alan Smith, God rest his soul. Yep, and as good as Santon has turned out, he did take a while to adapt, so even when he eventually ousted Raylor, Jonas still had to have that same mentality. He just looks like he's forgotten how to attack. I'm also reluctant to go along with the "his legs have gone" statement as you just don't see him open his legs up enough these days to really say for certain. As soon as he gets the ball, he's instantly looking to get rid of it. He actually beat a man (two men in fact) yesterday, and I was genuinely shocked
  9. I still think Pardew has something to do with Jonas' decline over the past 12-18 months or so. I know I keep beating the same drum but ever since he was deployed as essentially a second fullback to cover Raylor, his attacking play has deteriorated to the point where he's afraid to take on his man. I would love it to be a case of a coach/manager needing to put an arm over his shoulder and work with him to get him attacking his man again, but unfortunately even if that is the case, it's not going to happen with Pardew in charge.

    Alan Pardew

I personally think we deserved something out of the game, but my patience is wearing thin with Pardew, so I accept that I am going to be overly critical of anything less than a win from us at the moment.
  11. He looks like he's hesitating with every pass, and they were slowing us down going forward. He's off form, like seemingly everyone in the team. It's the first time since he's been with us that I've seen him seriously off form, so I'd rather we try and get him playing again rather than fuck him off out of the club the moment he has a few poor games.

I was around the Reigate area(ish), a mate who I work with always goes on about him living there and pointed the road out as we drove past.

I apparently drove past his house in Surrey on Friday night, should have shit on his doorstep.
  14. Mistakes, yes. Shit, no. Says a lot about our team when our most potent attack is through our CB and LB.

People making up quotes makes me cringe to fuck.
  16. Pardew hasn't done that, tbh. The idiots above him have. Not when you have alternatives in Marveaux and Perch that can arguably do a better job. Perch is every bit as useless as Williamson at CB. I beg to differ, it may not be his best position, but Williamson has had enough chances, I'd rather see Perch have a go. At the very least it would stop 80% of our long balls.

Still shouldn't have brought Shola on for him though. Marveaux was the obvious and surely correct choice.
