We've at least been better than we have been recently, but we aren't creating enough and relying too much on HBA. I'd probably take Sammy off as he's not really doing much. Ferguson needs to take his man on more, we saw against Stoke he's more than capable of doing it.

Tiote has looked a little more disciplined today. Ferguson needs to lift his crosses up, not beating the first man.

I'd love to see Martin Jol implement his style of football with our players.

A lot of the times Suarez beat Colo, he seemed to get a lucky bounce of the ball, i.e. Colo would make a challenge, make contact and the ball somehow bobble through to Suarez's path. Can't recall him beating him cleanly much throughout the match. Was the same for a lot of challenges on Saurez from other players too, I guess that's to the credit of Saurez's tenacity. Must say I found it frustrating just watching so I can imagine how frustrating it must be for the players.

Scoring goals breeds confidence, though. Without that, the rest of his game will suffer. You could say that Ba's all-round game didn't suffer last season during his drought, but he was still getting chances all the time. This season Cisse gets a chance or half a chance a game, if he's lucky. He's not just a goalscorer, but he needs to be allowed to be one for the rest of his game to click, imo. I thought some of Ba's performances during his drought were atrocious to the extent that he looks a completely different player now to how he did at the end of last season. Looked like he couldn't take a first touch at times, sloppy passing etc. Kind of like Cisse now. As you say, scoring breeds confidence, he scores a few goals and his game will improve.

Cisse is pure instinct.
