Parker was their best player imo, barely ever misplaced a pass whilst the test of their team gave it away horribly! Given the state of their team performance I think its understandable he want involved all the time. Tiote was class today, helps us so much when he holds the ball up.

Carroll lazy? hes been chasing practically everything down up top and at the back!

TBF I think there's been more than enough decent crosses to work with, although that's probably purely down to the fact that we pumped ball after ball in. Jonas has stuck in a couple of decent balls with his left foot, as has Enrique. There has been some shite though obviously.

Can we only play football when we are losing? The last few minutes aside we seem to have no drive unless we are losing.

Barton was Gash and all Tiote seemed interested in was getting a red card. I assume you're referring to the Wigan game. I'll have to take your word for it as I didn't see it. I heard Kamara mention he put a chance on a plate for Carroll though. I do however think he's played very well overall this season.

I am actually pretty shocked at people saying he's been abysmal this season. Honestly think he's been quality. He's been very composed on the ball and his passing has been good. I feel like we have half a chance when our CM pairing is him and Tioté. I didn't see the Wigan game.

I'd put Guthrie in the middle and Tiote off for Routledge. And give him the Cacapa treatment as well yeah?

We definitely need Jonas and Routledge to be of the mentality that they aren't guaranteed starters. I'm not too sure how to address the left hand side, but we could certainly do with Gosling and Guthrie being fit (or even Ranger) to challenge for the right hand side. Routledge started the season alright but he needs a kick up the arse. He looks like he has no confidence at the moment.

He seems like a very intelligent player. You get some players that can deceive a opponent with the use of the ball, and you get others that can deceive the opposition and make space for themselves just by the way they position themselves. Tioté seems to fall into this category. The number of times he just shifted his body and was able to move into space was very impressive.

Nolan has played reasonably well IMO, he's actually quite an intelligent footballer. Some good passes, but hasn't seen a great deal up top.

I can't stand Andy Gray. Unless it's a top team he's not interested. Not a bad performance, we've been the better team and played some nice stuff (dare I say it... as usual), but we've got more in us. Barton, Enrique, and Colo have been superb, no one has really been poor.... except Routledge, I think this is the worst he's played this season so far. Looks like he's lacking confidence or something, afraid to take on his man.

Tiote's first touch is unreal! Got a right touch of class about him (although he did kinda do a Smith and give away a free kick on the edge of the area and the (very weak) pen).

Yeah I get that with the manager too I tend to stay clear of any thread that is regarding a specific player when we lose. I just end up getting pissed off

Yep, he's been very solid so far this season. It's the first time he's had a run of games and it's starting to show. He's nothing spectacular but keeps things moving in the midfield. Good passer of the ball and will probably have a few goals to his name by the end of the season (if he stays fit and out of trouble). Cracking pass to put Nolan through against Everton on Saturday.

What a fucking result. Good all round performance, I don't think we carried anyone. Tiote looks like a great signing. Don't recall seeing him miss place a pass.
