Don't think Platt played much of 96, definitely Ince ahead of Dier though. McManaman one the right and Anderson on the left of Gazza and Ince wasn't it?

Has he even spent the last 2 years TV dosh? That's without even thinking about transfer profits. Bloke is a lying cunt.

There is a first. I agree with the Daily Heil.

What a spunk bubble.

Coleman and Davies fiascoes? [emoji38]Yeah, keeping them on when they were old and dithery and out of touch. I was a bit angry when I posted that tbh, but I never rated them. They're humans and I wish them no ill will, but I don't want to be annoyed by old men talking rubbish when I'm watching football. It's bad enough already. Coleman didn't commentate on a game of football after 1980 but he was still the best athletics commentator when he retired in 2000. Davies to me was always the best BBC commentator once Coleman stopped doing football, yet was always shunned in favour of Motson, who imo has always been cack. Strange you'd pick the best two Beeb commentators as examples of going on too long.

I've seen Deadman a few times. He's appalling.

I know it was hit hard but Elliott's parry was fucking terrible too, I have no idea what the defenders were thinking though, 4 of them followed the ball and left every Sunderland player in the box free, bizzare. We're really bad at getting the ball away from danger in general though, it's worrying. Any half decent keeper would have parried it over the bar.

If you can't see they were the better side, there really is no hope for you. I think we were as dominant in the 2nd half as they were in the first, neither team looked anything special. As far as I saw they controlled the game until they dropped deep protecting what they had and took off Kirchhoff and Khazri. We were better second half agreed , but definitely not the better side overall. I do believe under our previous three managers we'd have lost the game convincingly though.

He never had one outstanding feature though, like pace (Owen) or strength (Carroll). I think that as a young striker, that sometimes means you get underrated. Even the fans of the teams he was on loan at...and tbh, some Spurs fans...didn't really fancy him. He's just good at everything, which coupled with hard work and a clever footballing mind has meant he has got better and better. It also makes it a bit harder for managers to game plan against him - you can't just stick a big guy on him, or a quick, nippy defender. I'll put my hand up, I thought he was a shoot on sight merchant. I thought hed be found out. But if anything he's better this season . Must be a cert to start for England.

City should have paid off Pellegrini , their players aren't playing for him.
