Man United were terrible in Europe then, not just Cantona. Shouldn't affect his selection into a Premiership team. I fucking hated him, I believe his comeback after the ban sparked their march past us for the title, especially those what seemed like months, but in reality was weeks , when they won 1-0 with him scoring. But he was a very special player...one of the kind whom you'd pay the admission fee alone to watch

Don't think so. Different type of player from all of those, but certainly better than 4 of the 6. I'd put him up there with Henry for best Overseas Premiership player. His contribution to Manchester United was phenomenal.

No getting away from it. Schmichael has an embarrasingly large lead on the 2nd best. In fact, there ISN'T a second best ! VDS. Seaman clearly the nearest challenger to Schmeichel.

Cantona was more of a force in the Premiership than Bergkamp.

It's similar to how outside of the pitch there is difference between a direct and indirect free kick. How about you look it up and post evidence for us in here? Ok, usually outside of the area a handball is punished by an indirect free kick, though in recent years I've seen it punished by a direct free kick, in a penalty box though it is punished by a direct free kick which is a penalty. Eh? Deliberate handball has always been a direct free kick if outside the box and a penalty within it. The only indirect free kick offences as far as I'm aware are: obstruction, which I can't remember the last time I saw one, offside decisions and 'keeper picking up deliberate back passes.
