Everyone forgetting old El Hadji then?

I'd always find room for Jason McAteer. Cunt of the highest order.

It was, think the woman won as well. Can't say for sure though. Edit: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_the_Sexes_(tennis) 2-1 to the men. Billie Jean King in her prime against a 55 year old former champion I believe.

Adams was shocking until 1990ish despite him being captain of the champions on a couple of oçcasions. After he got put away and came out publicly as an alcoholic , his football improved tenfold and it seemed to happen really quickly too. So before his improvement you'd have to say he wasn't in Terry's league but after he certainly was. Better? At certain things definitely. They were both inspirational leaders, Adams quicker and probably better on the deck. Pretty equivalent aerially but Terry more dangerous from set pieces. All in all too close to call. Better on the deck? Think this is where Terry is under rated. A great passing range with both feet. Yes, better on the deck. To clarify, before his conviction, Adams was an error strewn mess, prone to miskicks and everything. He was still an England international and captain of a Championship winning side, but he was known as Donkey for a reason After he came back, he improved at a rapid rate, unrecognisable in my opinion in every facet of the game.

I used to get home and away mixed up with neighbours to be fair

Fancy attacking Fletchers News and Bewze like that.

Rob Jones' selection is slightly odd. Gary Neville head and shoulders above the rest there. Schmeichel definitely in goal too. Keane or Vieira in front of Gerrard or would you just slot Vieira or Keane in the middle of a three and get Cantona in or maybe Bergkamp further up the pitch?

There are other central defenders that have to be considered I feel as although Jaap Stam was outstanding, he didn't play here for very long. 2 seasons or so iirc. So you have to consider Pallister and also Vidic from Manchester United along with the already mentioned Rio. Plus Kompany and of course the best of them all, Paul McGrath. I would also mention Des Walker but his best work was pre Premiership though he did have a decent season or 2 with Sheff Wed.

Or that curtain headed Smoggie from the 90s, Me Colback.

Personally I don't want that mouth breather anywhere near my city. Not racist enough?

Saving their whinging throats for the season proper. Would have thought Rooney's first competitive game back would have been a big draw. Good odds on 5-5.

We should try to get Bale out of this too.

Fantastic piece of writing that.

You say that but nothing Ashley has done since he's owned us suggests he'd be following suit with everyone else and spending in such a cavalier fashion.

Just seen the oddest decision in the women's game . English girl slipped and handled in the box, ref gave a drop ball
