I don't believe it was reckless but I'm not on the FA committee that judges these things. I think the FA will bottle it and uphold Marriners decision.

Their player had overran the ball,and therefore didn't "have" it.That's why the lunge got Tiote to the ball before their player.

The lunge wasn't directed at the player though?And indeed,the lunge didn't connect with the player.
