  1. Do they not get any credit for the signings they've already made?
  2. Best don a tin hat mate. More like a bunker.
  3. I'd take him, purely on FM reasons. And his goalscoring record isn't horrible like. Loans from abroad are a lot more acceptable than loans from Premier League rivals as well.
  4. Nothing will happen until much later this evening I think, chill out.
  5. Think N'Gog could do OK with a run of games.
  6. I would take Balotelli in a heart beat. I think Pardew would be a good influence on him tbh. Does he need help with the ladies?
  7. 30 years old. Mike Ashley no touch. If he's heading for the north east by train maybe he's on his way to Brucey. Via Newcastle Yes - that's the way you get to Sunderland by train from London. Grand Central Trains run direct to Sunderland, but their service is pretty sporadic and their trains are ancient.
  8. Stoke's the last place I thought Bendtner would end up. Will be interesting to see how he does. Interested to see how N'Gog does with regular football as well.
  9. Same, would like another fullback but a striker has to be the priority for today.
  10. I thought this too. Surely they would just make a list of changes and then update the website tomorrow with the final squad.
  11. As much as it could go spectacularly wrong, I would love to take a chance on the moody fucker. Like Bellamy and Barton, he's the sort of character that you hate if they play for your opponents but love to have on your side. Obviously no chance of it happening, but would be nice. Howay Ian, you cant hate Ballotelli, he's hilarious. Aye, I chuckle at his moody attitude most of the time, I just mean he winds up opposing fans and players in general.
  12. There are plenty of positive things to sell players on coming to Newcastle.
  13. Always thought Jerome should be a really good player, but for some reason he just isn't. Never seen him enough to tell, but he's got the size, pace, power, not sure what he lacks that means he falls a bit short.

  15. They can have £2m plus Nile Ranger and be grateful for it.
  16. That is good news. Lets hope Davide Santon turns out as good as you did then. There's always a chance.
  17. Really? I said "hopeful"! No reason to assume the worst yet. Sit tight, let's wait and see. We've already made a collection of very promising signings, let's hope we can do the same up front.
  18. There seem to be enough options to be hopeful we'll get someone in.
  19. The striker is one where a loan of a reserve player seems almost pointless, as it won't improve enough on what we have. If we are adding a striker to the squad it needs to be one who is significantly better than all the others we have.
