  1. This imo It's not like we could have un-injured Enrique by not signing Aanhol. So either way it's a good move. WTF? If Enrique was only a short term injury then we probably wouldnt have got him, god knows what you mean It was suggested that Enrique being out was a downside of this deal, in fact it's a totally seperate issue. Even if he was fit we would have needed another LB.
  2. Well he certainly keeps that well hidden. All part of his master plan. He flies under the radar...
  3. It must be Llambias, the man's a genius.
  4. I know what you mean, it is enjoyable. I'm not a massive fan of loan signings, as they never feel like your player, but I know we need them in our current situation.
  5. I'm just suspending my opinion at the moment, I think the current moves are good ones but I'm quite prepared for it all to go wrong again. Obviously if we get promoted we'll see what happens - equally if we don't I suppose!
  6. http://www.chelseafc.com/page/TheReservesProfiles/0,,10268~898883,00.html Ah, it's van Aanholt.

  8. I believe in freedom of the press, but for some reason I've got no sympathy for tabloid rags who make money out of exposing people's private lives. Don't need to know, don't want to know.
  9. Roeder's like one of those soldiers in the Vietnamese jungle who thinks the war hasn't ended.
  10. Nobody is bumming Ashley, some people are just giving him a small amount of credit for a small number of good decisions.
  11. True, it does look more promising than we would have hoped though - from what I'd heard I thought he would be off to Everton or somewhere like that.
  12. Sounds a decent signing, shame he'll be off back to Chelsea but a good option in the meantime.
  13. Crystal Palace went bust on Monday, met the admin crew on Tuesday, he saw SJP on Wednesday - then Thursday, Friday and Saturday he signed on Sunday. It's nailed on TBH (it sort of works).
  14. If he's badly injured then it's bad obviously, but I would rather he's out long enough to recover and not rushed back. The cover we've got now should allow that.
  15. Moses is boarding a train at Kings Cross as we speak man. Probably.
  16. I was going to say that as well, although obviously could yet turn out to be longer.
  17. Jose out for a while? Or is he thinking of *gulp* cover? We've been after left back cover for a while, I think the way Kadar has filled out he's a centre back primarily now, he doesn't look lean enough to be a full back, likewise with Williamson. Sure they can cover there but if Enrique's out for a month that's 5 games or so, I think we'll be in the market for a young left back to back up Enrique in the long run Yeah, I understand the intention. I just can't believe we're 'planning' like that. In your face. Only joking.
  18. I wouldn't think so, these are loan signings... pretty sure they're intended as backup.
  19. We have to send him back until the fax comes through with the permanent contract, then we have to get him back up. He'll be spending the next two days on the M1 and M6.
  20. Looks like that photo was taken by Dennis Wise. He's a big lad.
