  1. He does though; his own. It's a shame it's still going. He's checking he's still alive.
  2. Nacho, Xisco, Jonas... will we sign anyone who actually uses the correct name? We need a Billy Johnson or David Smith pronto.
  3. I coming round to 'sisko', as it seems to be a common nickname for people called 'francisco'. Not 100% sure though.
  4. Got to be a lot of song potential for Xisco... the thong song in some form, 'Xisco inferno', all sorts.
  5. Leroy's been getting a bad press recently like, he's a player that could do a job in the premiership. Not saying I want us to sign him, but he's lively, dangerous and not afraid of a shot. Always came up with very important goals for Reading. probably Keanes lates piece in the "team full of arrogant pricks" jigsaw, cisse, diouf, chimbonda and now lita please god i hope he is not coming to newcastle He's tiny as well, saw him shopping in Reading and I must've been a good foot taller! Can't be much more than 5'5". We aren't signing him, so I wouldn't worry like.
  6. Not sure what his fitness and mobility is like now, but they definitely do need someone like him in midfield, and older head to slow the game from time to time.

  8. Nobody really knows, all I'm sure of is I fucking hope he goes... even if we have to pay Everton.
  9. Nope, the Milner sale demonstrates how insane things are getting. He cost more than Nasri FFS.
  10. Morality really hasn't been transgressed as much as some people seem to think. Barton has done many things that are objectionable, and most people have said so, and condemned him. He's broken the law of the land, and the rules of the game, and he's been (or being) punished for all of that. Now he's on his way back, and he's getting another chance. Not much wrong with that in my opinion.
  11. If we'd signed Malouda when he joined Chelsea I'd have been very impressed, so not going to say it's a bad move now. He hasn't turned into a bad player in a season.
  12. Don't know what Harry's up to to be honest. Sold Muntari already, what was the point in signings Defoe and Crouch if he's going to have to sell other good players? Seems he's over-reached a bit with signings. Some of the 'poor man' quotes he's come out with have been embarrassing as well, even if you are skint, desperate for loan deals and need to sell - keep it to yourself mate.
  13. I'd like to think Wenger will take some action against him, but I doubt it. That sort of thing definitely isn't encouraged in the media training players get...
  14. Exactly, when he heard the guys on 5Live at the weekend saying they 'thought Keegan had some moral fibre' I thought that was exactly what he was demonstrating. It's far easier just to go along with the crowd and turn against Barton. Not to mention the obvious business implications of protecting a valuable asset. I wasn't really that behind Barton, but the more the London press and cronies on TV slag him off to a ridiculous extent, the more I want to support him.
  15. About 50% Didn't think it was that many... are most of the current team not first-timers in the League?
  16. I know, the hysteria is ridiculous. I've never seen so many people with dubious moral character getting on their high-horses. The moral high ground is very crowded at the moment.
  17. 'Premiership experience' is very overrated. How many of Arsene Wenger's signings have it?
  18. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_4078202,00.html Speachless
  19. Which two posts? I was a bit late on the button there - I meant the one where someone says 'people will write him off too quickly', followed immediately by someone writing him off too quickly.
  20. Aye, but he's got a great line in Cisse/Diouf stlye bleached blond haircuts. Quite acrobatic as well.
  21. ^ Those two posts are beautifully coordinated!
  22. I would be very surprised to see Heskey come in, wouldn't fit in with our policy so far at all. Neither would Atouba or Malouda really, but we'll see. Another couple along the lines of what we've seen so far would make more sense.
  23. Some costs are in dire need of cutting. Or decapatating, whatever.
  24. It will be unbelievable if someone actually buys Smith. Will continue the idea that their must be something that managers see in him that nobody else does. So many have rated him, defended him and/or signed him - yet he continues to be absolute shit on the pitch.
