I got accused of being a Liverpool fan earlier this season, guess I wasn’t going mental enough for the bloke next to me.

I remember at one point it being so hard (or maybe expensive) to get printing that I just took a shirt to a random sports shop and they did basic black felt letters and number on the back Had a Germany Klinsmann shirt (my favourite player at the time for some reason) printed completely wrong like that.

But how can you be livid at something that’s not an offence? You can be angry at the bad luck, yes, but that’s it. You can’t say it wasn’t fair or the decision was wrong, because it was correct. Or you can say the rules need to be changed in future, but then that’s not what he said.

The yellow card for stopping a counter has definitely become less common. Not sure if it’s a directive but it used to be basically automatic.

Even the Burn one was debatable to me, looks like it strikes him at or above the tshirt line which is not handball.

But why would you want people penalised for something accidental? IMO there should be almost no handballs in a game of football, it had got silly.

True but they did say the decisions were basically right.

Saddest thing is that Spurs worked their arses off and there’s plenty to be proud of. Clearly they are trying to win still. But instead Ange focuses on whinging.

Ange comes across even worse on the BBC interview, gets asked directly what he means and just repeats the ‘even playing field’ line while bottling what he actually means. Coward and a twat. The BBC didn’t bother pointing out that he was completely wrong and the decision was correct though. Edit: Danny Murphy came on and did point out the decisions were all right.

I never thought his defending was noticeably bad TBH. But now it looks genuinely great.

TBF to McCoist I think he was saying that he thought the officials would disallow it even though it shouldn’t be disallowed. Not sure why he thought that mind. Guess just general lack of faith in the officials.

Thought Chelsea was most likely to have a wobble, just because the volatile nature of their club/squad. But not saying they won’t eventually finish top four.

Agree, you should be able to score after an accidental handball. Guess it does make the decision easier and less controversial though.

Nah I don’t care, was just annoying the fixtures played out like this so the table couldn’t look even better for a day or two.
