Annoying TIFO podcast this week, chatted about what we need to improve, Bruce probably going etc. Then they randomly linked to a piece about oppression of LGBTQ people in Saudi, and said it was clearly linked to football. I’m as much in favour of educating yourself about Saudi Arabia as anyone, but it’s odd to link it every discussion about NUFC. They don’t do this with Russian oligarchs or Qatar when talking about Chelsea and Man City.

Sadly he just start writing about how great NUFC is now, as if this never happened.

Would be a massive win, can't really see it but it's more likely than it was. -
I'd have Big Sam on there as well.
-
You're missing the bit where he hangs around for a massive payoff.
-
I would happily be abused on social media and hung out to dry for £8 million like. Best job in the world.
-
Nope. In fact he's got off incredibly lightly from the fans at the match.
-
The detail was never there FFS.

Not reading any of that Edwards shite. Who cares.

"It was always going to be a difficult job, because I'm not very good."

'Kin hell!

Tend to agree, they can redeem it by announcing a good new manager before Palace though. Let's hope they will.

Feel the same Yorkster. The general feeling that football is wrong doesn't go away just because we start benefitting from it. That said, I suppose we do have to accept that this is the only real way to compete, and it's the nature of capitalism combined with box office entertainment. This is why I'll never get the 'we're richer than you' chants or (vice-versa) the way other fans will take the piss out of us for our ownership. It's just not happening at our level. I would never have wished someone like Ashley on any club, and I certainly wouldn't have a go at the fans of any other club based on who their owner is. I don't like that the money comes from Saudi Arabia, or that the PL in general allows takeovers like this at all. But it does, and it's an amazing sport and great spectacle, so I'll still be able to enjoy that aspect. FWIW I hated that BBC Premier League documentary, the gaggle of money men and charlatans at the beginning was very hard to stomach. That's when this all started.

NUFC kits & merchandise - third kit images leaked pg.874

I'll get the first post-Ashley kit probably, but not anything from the current range. The big number 4 on the front of the home shirt is too shit. -
If anyone wants to know what the Ashley era was like, tell them the windows being cleaned is a news item.

I always wonder this about football managers. Normal employment law would allow someone to be sacked for being unable to perform.
-
It's more likely when you're off more than you're on.
-
I can't see how this is legal at all. Members of a sporting membership organisation can vote to prevent potential future investment coming in to one of their members, after they have already benefitted from it themselves? Not for me like.
-
Kind of glad he didn't get sacked on day 1 now, it's like another takeover day
-
That is truly insane Some teams are playing in 3 competitions FFS.
-
Quite reassuring about the regime if this really is their shortlist.
-
Watching that makes you cry when you have Steve Bruce as your manager.

I like the fact that Howe didn’t just jump back into any job. Although suppose it’s possible he’s applied for everything and been knocked back
