And also the fact that a TV subscriptions is the thing that powers the whole of the Premier League.

They have very good attacking options now. Zaha, Eze, Olise, Gallagher, Edouard, Benteke. You'd think they'd score 1-3 goals against us.

All I listen to is stuff like TIFO and the Athletic Football Tactics podcast now. But that does possibly go a bit too far into the football hipster territory. Some better stuff on Sky now, like the Overlap debates, and I do like The Kick Off on YouTube as well. In general football media in the UK is terrible, considering it’s the national sport and incredibly rich. No idea why we have such low quality coverage.

Annoying TIFO podcast this week, chatted about what we need to improve, Bruce probably going etc. Then they randomly linked to a piece about oppression of LGBTQ people in Saudi, and said it was clearly linked to football. I’m as much in favour of educating yourself about Saudi Arabia as anyone, but it’s odd to link it every discussion about NUFC. They don’t do this with Russian oligarchs or Qatar when talking about Chelsea and Man City.

Sadly he just start writing about how great NUFC is now, as if this never happened.
