I thought it was Harewood you liked? We all know ranger should start, him and Carroll. -
They'll get a loan based on future revenues generated and stadiums aren't as expensive as you think. Bolton built theirs for less than it cost to increase our capacity by 16000. But Emirates cost about 400m quid or something?! These prices seem insane to me, like, considering they can knock up a 60k-seater stadium in Greece for the price of a loaf of Warburton's. Depends where it is type of soil having to buy houses, giving compo for loss of light, biuld it in the middle of nowhere and it costs next to nowt.

Hughton. He ain't selling us. You know I mean the fat fingered fker No I mean't hughton deal, he won't sell us. Aye it will be the Hughton deal .... its why the fat c*** has made it so public that he is there, childish prick that he is. Be funny if thousands of Charvers saw SSN and went there.

Dunno, suppose it would very much depend on the owner and especially the new manager. Well I hope any new owner would think having Hughton as your long term manager is a good idea, if so Ashley mkII Yeah, I didn't really mean that... I just meant he might appoint a new manager who wants all his own coaching staff... or he might want a total clean sweep. I'd hope there would be a place for CH though, he's done a service to the club. Aye he deserves a medal for putting up with this shit.

that looks class tbh, like the way the fans are close to the pitch aswell, makes a massive difference Looks ;like FIFA tbh. They've blatantly just asked EA to design them a stadium using the FIFA engine.

This is totally correct - the 92/93 side would easily destroy this lot. I would be surprised if they failed to score at least 3 times without reply. Sellars created far more danger than Jonas EVER will, and as for scoring goals, Rob Lee would make him look like an amateur. Kelly, Peacock and Andy Cole would have had a field day against the current side's defence..... Nolan this season will outscore Lee from that season. Who played LW most of that season anyway? Didn't sign Sellars until later on. Can't think. IF Nolan outscores Lee from that season(and its a big if), it will be because of 2 things ; 1.The current league is crap compared to the 92/93 League 2. Nolan has been in the side since AUGUST - Lee didn't join the club until late October 92. You are surely not trying to put Nolan in the same category as Lee are you ? If so, then either your memory is very short, or you can tell the rest of us what it is you are drinking - must be a new brew and very strong....! As for the wing, we had Sheedy on the left and Franz Carr on the right for most of the early games and even Carr was more effective than Jonas.. Sheedy was at the end of his career, which is why KK signed Sellars. Course I'm not, just picking up on the goalscoring midfielder comment. And I completely disagree on the Championship being weaker than Division One back then. You are entitled to your opinion but I disagree - the last 15 years have led to the syndrome of the cream rising to the top even MORE than it did back then because the Prem has become more powerful and wealthy ; there are NO good teams in this years' Championship and that INCLUDES NUFC. If any of the CCC sides currently in the promotion positions go up, they will be relegated unless they have massive surgery to their sides and most can't afford it. Back in 93, KK added just a couple of players to his promotion side and finished 3rd ; I say again, they were STREETS ahead of this or any other CCC side today . I agree and I think in general Championship/Div1 sides back then were either much stronger or the Prem is much stronger as the gap is much bigger now than it was then, I can't understand this bollocks the media come out with saying the gap is closer than ever. It is bollocks. If a side from the championship finished 3rd in the prem now it'd be a miracle even if they had 500M to spend.

I think they are just reporting the Times article, posted last night (£80m is reportedly £60m upfront with £20m to follow next season). They also said neither side (Ashley or Moat) are commenting on the report yet. Well if he'd accept 60m up front and really wanted to sell he'd accept 60m then 20m next season, he doesn't want to sell. He either wants to wait until next season or as I expect is remaining quiet and will hope we get promoted and then basically take the club off the market unless some crazy Billionaire comes in. Why are we being linked with these youth players from abroad who have actually been quoted discussing our interest, he'll continue to sign youth players invest sod all in the first team and somehow expect in 3/4 seasons time these youngsters will be good enough to get us to where he wants us to be. We'll see if this is true if Hughton gets a long term deal.

Harper Simpson Taylor Colo Enrique Smith Guthrie Nolan Jonas Carrol Ranger I was just thinking I can't recall seeing Colo play RCB always LCB this season, might be worth giving him a punt there as he'll be prone to less errors if playing on his stronger side -
How? I don't think Strachan is that much of a step up from Southgate if I'm honest. Idiot. I'm not so sure either, Strachan did ok at coventry I suppose but I could have won the Scottish title with Celtic at that time as rangers were shocking and O Neill had built a strong squad. It was only when the players O Neill had brought in began to retire/leave that celtic because rubbish again. What about at Southampton? He done class for them. Long time ago, league was different then. Those were the days when Frank Clarke was classed as a good manager. Gullit did well in tose days as did Vialli - wouldn't happen now they'd get tactically destroyed as we found with Hughton alst season, tactial knowledge is the most important attribute for a manager now, motivation was just as important back then. Eh? He was manager of Coventry before he was at Southampton. Doesnt make any difference, my point still stands. How does it not make a difference? Especially when you don't even know the time period of which you are using as your point of reference. I wouldn't say tactical knowledge is the most important attribute for a manager now. Ferguson has never been what you would call a great tactician, yet he has dominated English football for almost 20 years now. I can't think of many managers in the Premiership who I would say that tactics are their most important attribute. He inherited a good side at coventry and southampton and started well but ended up doing crap same goes for celtic, he started well as he had a good squad, he then added to it and ballsed it up. His tactics are shocking a la souness, you can see the players don't have a massive amount of instruction as how to play, he basically sends them out and tells them not to do anything fancy.

I was never convinced he wants to sell, I don't know what he wants, I'd be surprised if he did. Surely he can't just be happy to have a fifth or more of his wealth tied up purely just to watch and own a crap championship side. Maybe he's crazier than we give him credit for.
-
In which case why do it? Can he only be caretaker for a certain amount of time? Im sure there was something about a time limit for Roeder? That was because he didnt have his eufa Pro License
