Absolutely no shame from Masters and who he represents. It would be interesting to see which clubs would welcome an outside governing body???

I always remember our promotion season under Hughton, I was sat in the Gallowgate next to an older bloke in his 60s. The game was only something like a minute in or maybe a little longer. Nile Ranger misplaced a pass and this older guy nearly turned inside out with rage, i said something like "its only the first few minutes man". Crazy stuff from people.

From the Athletic article "However, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United have already expressed their concerns about the idea, pointing out it is potentially a breach of UK competition law." Isn't that just out right hypocrisy ?

Wasn't that floated ages ago and it got shouted down by fans?

We have serious people running the club now, not Mike Ashley and Charnley accepting the first low ball bid that comes in.

The "Worlds" biggest football club begging on national tv.

No, whilst the stadium has evolved, the walk to the stadium is still the same and still has emotional attachments. Im not opposed to moving, infact i think we have to move but lets not forget who we are in the thrust for more money and lose our identity.

"Whilst I am on side with a slight move in the city to gain more sets and space..." your post is lifting btw
-
I dont think it is mate, ive been going for years with my grandad, old man brother, my mates and their dads, walking the same route and sitting in the same locations since the early 80s. Whilst I am on side with a slight move in t he city to gain more sets and space, its still a tough emotional pull to walk away from the current SJP, especially since some of the people i went to the match with are no longer here.

I dont wear them, just enjoy the different designs.

I think its ugliness/crapness makes it. Then again I had the silver 80s kit as a kid, so probably a bit biased.
-
I like it, its absolute 80s retro at its best.

The lawnmower man still here then ?!!?

Just stylistic, I don't think they ever considered the bridges.

Well if its a title challenge kit, then it will have a place in everyone's memories. The kit looks pretty drab and and uninspiring. There are so many more exciting designs for a stripped kit. Its a play on the 2001 & 2002 kit with very little difference.

Looks a bit boring to me. hey ho
