Asked to stop clapping at a football match?

Arrived in town from the metro, the journey in felt subdued and little buzz. Normally there's a lot of chatter and a feel for the game on the metro but it just wasnt there. Arrived and moment and felt the city centre also felt a bit flat, the walk up to the ground was a bit crap as well. The game itself, everyone picked up eventually but the first 15 / 20 mins were a bit flat.

Kath Phipps sounds like a Little Britain character.

I like the idea of a sort of transfer tax that someone mentioned on here. 100 m spend gets a 5 mil tax band and it goes to the grass roots, 150 m and money goes to the womens game, 200 mil and it goes to the lowers leagues, etc. Something like that I think, would work.

Panic mode setting in... The league is already unfair, as if people cant see through the nonsense

The lad had some great moments, helped save us from what looked like certain relegation and then his amazing run of goals that helped fire us into the Champions League. He's left himself a nice legacy with the club.

They've inadvertently priced themselves out of the market for him by insisting on such spending restrictions with PSR & FFP. This is the other side of the coin they have flipped for themselves.
