Expectations re so low now, I went to a wedding during he holidays and one of my best mates still has his season ticket. He also mentioned that he is getting his ST cheaper, I came back with "its not a good thing in reality as the product on show is fcking bad Ashley has to lower his prices, do you not see this" So in short, the fan base is f***ed. Don't agree actually. I think he felt the team under performed significantly under Carver (of course - he's not even a manager) and by adding **quality** but good value young players from abroad we would be comfortably okay. He changed strategy slightly by going for fewer but higher ticket players hoping to get the quality in needed. But it hasn't worked like that. We need the right types of players to come in and affect the first team. Might be 27 year olds with low resale value Even if thats the case its still reckless.
