f***ing hell! Jesus, half of them were saying he was the right man for the job.

Bolton 2 The Revenge of Blackburn Rovers.

his advisors, who are using it as a lever to get a good deal at Everton. Everton are fcking skint, no way could they match 90k-a-week or top it. And besides, if you look at the table we are only 6 or 7pts behind them.
-
Is he outside still.
-
Yeah but his situation is different as well. He's 29 now, not 25 and a £90,000 a week contract taking him up to his 33rd birthday is an absolutely amazing offer. Especially with all the early season sales on at the minute.
-
Man City should now change their name to Mad City with some of the transfer targets they have and wedge they'll spend.
-
Actually, it's not. Clubs don't just go offering 120k for 4 years to a 29 year old just because it's a "free transfer." He's not getting better terms at any team not named Manchester City. So it's up to him whether he'd rather have the money here or UEFA cup glory with another club. Personally? I think Owen knows this is the best deal he's going to get from anywhere. What's the point going to Spurs/Everton/Villa for significantly less money? Unless Villa gets into the CL this year and offers him a contract, or Man City fails in their bids for Villa, Drogba, Zlatan, Henry, and Eto'o and needs to go for plan F, I think he's going to sign. I doubt we'd offer him 90k a week. With his fitness issues, 90k a week for 4 years is an enormous commitment, I really doubt many clubs would be prepared to pay that. That's what, the sharp end of 20m over 4 years? God. Yep, its a fcking top offer if true and not many will offer him that. If any.

Neither have I, I will be like Amdy Faye but so fuck. Dont be a coward. -
Yes, three years wages handed to him for six months of work at a Premiership team. What a fool! Yes three years wages but he has been sacked already. No doubt he will get a job but it still look sbad. Should have done his apprenticeship.
-
The majority of manager get sacked fairly early on in their careers, I honestly think Ince should have stuck it out with MK Dons. He took the quick and easy path. Now look at him.
-
Great! So it's fine if a crowd of people start chanting bigoted s**** at a public event, because a bunch of fuckwitted toffs at Oxford have politically incorrect fancy-dress parties. I thunk he was pointing out the double standards.

Agreed. or even Xisco or Duff or Ranger. Don't rate Viduka at all. Viduka has fantastic ball control technique and ability. Give him the ball in the box and he will generally get a shot on target. Lash 40 yard balls up to him & expect him to challenge it aint going to happen. Nowadays Viduka is still a good finisher if you give him a chance on a plate. Thats all the positives i can say about him really. He has little to no movement which is frustrating if you want to pass him the ball, he is slow, he wins surprisingly little/nothing in the air against half decent CB and can be very easily marked out the game. I'd rather dip in the reserves for Ranger/Xisco or even Shola. Pass the ball to Vidukas feet and he will retain it. Shearer wasn't exactly super mobile towards the end of his career but his skill, technique and ability was still so good he kept on scoring goals........not forgetting his assists as well. Viduka will score a few goals for us before the end of the season, these will come in handy.

Would be totally brilliant. Both those clowns back in Prem management. And both of them finish the season above us

Would we be moaning about the transfer window as it stands if in the last 4 years we'd done well in all the transfer windows and were top 6/7? I dont think so.

So that's obviously why Keegan by the end couldn't stand his guts? So? Just because Keegan doesn't like him equates to what? He was ruining the club, the fact the fella walked out showed we are not first in his mind. I fail to see what Wise has done bar stop us getting over-rated trophy signings and securing some good young talent. Not someone else who believed Keegan was really chasing Frank Lampard et al Ok then explain something to me. How can a man who openly admitted not following Football or "Seeing a game of football" in over 3 years was supposed to know of any of the worlds young talent outside of the players at the top of the game. Its literally impossible, if you stopped following Football 3 years ago or even now you could tell me that when you returned you could draw up a list of 10 players under 26 that would improve our side and were not already a big club. To assume that Keegan had planned anything outside of major signings along the scale of Lampard (Not Lampard himself) would be crazy. A top guy, a great help to establishing the club, but in this instance just out of his depth and unwilling to admit it. KK was never out of his depth.
