Sunderland rested a lot of their first choice 11 today which they wouldn't have done if they weren't safe. It's all ifs and buts. No point going through all the events. The fact is we got Relegated.

Don't forget after being shown the red card he went to confront the ref. Sissoko had to hold him back.

Spurs were far from their best but the pace of Townsend, Sissoko and Aarons destroyed them on the break. We need to scout and buy players with pace. It is a huge part of the game (Obertan is the exception which proves the rule).
