Why has all this Tiote at CB talk broken out anyway? Was there confirmation that he's training/playing?
-
Having players that are good enough for you to worry about them leaving is a good thing. Look back to some of the squads from Roeder onwards... Who out of those teams would you even have been worried about selling to a "bigger club"
-
Center back, fullback, striker would probably make up the numbers nicely, although you really can't be too positive of our chances of getting all of those. Right winger would be nice too. Realistically I think we're talking one striker and one versatile defensive player.

Just don't see why he can't play on the wing. Especially since we seem to be willing to go as far as playing Lovenkrands out of position to leave him up front. Pardew needs to be a bit more flexible here.
-
Also, classic Everton at home against team "they should beat". Seventh place, here we come
-
Eric Black is in charge. Oh, never mind

Ji starting. Interesting. I thought MON was allergic to any players not from the British Isles.

I'm sorry Ronaldo but that's just complete and utter bullshit. I don't even know what to say. Hes had a canny few injuries like, so i cant see whats so wide of the mark. Regardless, claiming to have "expected" that he'd break down for the rest of the season is patently ridiculous.

Great minds

Wait, why is Li Tie even doing the FA Cup draw anyway?

Obviously not expecting a lot from this. Teams with no central defenders generally don't win games. Opportunity for Kadar to show something, if nothing else. If he can't even get himself picked here he might as well just leave.

What a piece of shit game. Could have easily been a win with some luck but instead it's probably the turning point that will completely derail our season and send us back to mid-table mediocrity.
-
I guess we disagree but if the Hughton sacking doesn't warrant hysteria I don't know what does Reeks of revisionist history imo.
-
he's right about this mind, there was some fucking diabolical shit being thrown around when pardew was appointed like...rather people go back and dig that up Utter and complete despair at the time was perfectly justified. nah It was man, we just sacked a perfectly good manager and replaced him with some knacker who failed in League 1 who just happened to be Ashley's gambling buddy Who knew he would turn out to be the second coming?

Given that Carroll didn't play for more than a month after joining Liverpool... No, not really.
-
Jesus Christ himself couldn't resurrect the careers of those shit players they have.
-
Would be class if Bruce suddenly decided to reveal his true colors and did an interview saying that he always hated Sunderland even while he was managing them "It was really really hard trying to appear sad after that 5-1... Really hard."
-
Liverpool "could" potentially finish below us, so ideally we'd want City to win to maximize the chance of a European spot.
-
Given how intent he's been on bending over backwards to appear impartial towards us since retiring, that could very well be his next move
-
In retrospect, would it be plausible to start regarding selling Andy Carroll as more than a financial decision? Maybe Pardew and the board actually sat down and rationally decided that "look, the lad's a decent player having a purple patch, we're absolutely mugging them at this price" as opposed to Ashley/Llambias just going "35m, w00t!" and pressing the 'accept bid' button? Perhaps I'm being too charitable, but maybe we realized before anyone else that he simply wasn't that good.

This is a joke, right?

We better make ourselves scarce Kaiz, you know it's going to come up sooner or later...
