Moneyball is about going after underrated players so if people are now actually valuing the type of players that they originally went after the new optimal strategy would be to start going after players who were originally overrated who would now actually be underrated.. Either way, Liverpool paying $$$$$ for young, English, overpriced players makes no sense though.
