None for me. Not for the level of performance. That was a Steve Bruce team out there.
-
That performance was utter rubbish. There were no redeeming features and nothing to take encouragement from. The manager is doing a really poor job right now. I don't want the manager to be sacked. Not now, not next week & not at any point in this season. Even if we lose again on Saturday in the derby. Does that clarify things for you?
-
There's not a single person on this thread that has said he should be sacked. Not now, or any time soon.
-
The truth hurts. He was the one who got personal...."there's summat wrong with you mate, your too entitled". Bullshit.
-
The very fact that you accused me of being "entitled" for daring to have an opinion on a football forum is a glaring example of your gaslighting. Go and look it up before making your next post.
-
Stop being a gaslighting prick and you might not get any abuse then eh?
-
Ironically, of the two of us, it's you who is the one being over-emotional. Quite the achievement that.
-
The scoreline was completely skewed by our two goals which came from nothing. If we'd lost by 5 or 6 nobody would have blinked. We were nothing less than a disgrace tonight.
-
"We weren't that bad" We were absolutely fucking atrocious for the entire 90.
-
In trouble means ferocious criticism coming his way. Nothing to do with his job being under immediate threat.
-
Nobody is calling for his head. A few on here are desperate to be seen as super-fans when it comes down to the manager though. Right now though, the simple fact is that the manager is doing a rubbish job. That means he will deservedly be feeling the pressure, nothing more than that.
-
Looking very much like a bang-average manager right now. Lose the derby and he is in big trouble. The last few weeks have nibbled away at his banked credit. A loss to Sunderland will take a very big chunk from it.
-
Similar here. I've made a mental note to myself to not overreact if we lose the derby. But fuckin hell it will be difficult to do. Think I might just log out of all things football for a fortnight.
-
Maybe it's something to do with losing at home to Cambridge & away to Sheffield Wednesday in the previous two 3rd round draws? Both of them were League One teams. So why are we guaranteed to smash a play-off chasing Championship team?
-
Judging by the minging reaction on Twitter to yesterday's result, I dread to think what the reaction will be like on there if we lose this one.
-
The very idea of sacking him this season is mental. For a start there is no obvious replacement (and please don't say Mourhino). He really needs a plan B and to stop being too loyal to certain players though. The derby game is monumental now and it has to be won.
-
Probably due to complete apathy and acceptance of mediocrity with Ashley being there.
-
Compared to the two squads back then the current gap is massive. They are an above average 2nd tier side and are currently in disarray over their ownership and new manager. We really should be beating them.
-
They wont tolerate upper mid table? Yeah they will.
-
We were on their level in those games. Now there is a chasm between the two clubs. There is justified expectation to win the game.
-
Agree, the performances have been dreadful. What I mean is that the fanbase will tolerate that this season and put it down to a learning experience for the manager. But derby defeat won't be tolerated without savage criticism.
-
As long as we don't lose the derby I think the vast majority will tolerate a drop off into upper mid table this season. The Mackems beat us though and the criticism will be horribly ugly.
-
Eddie's got a bunch of lessons to learn from this season but it would be appalling to not give him all of this season and next to show his credentials. These rumours about Mourhino need to just fuck off and die. If that happens then the owners will have lost the plot already.
