  1. All the signs are that the two clubs have an agreement in place. Scandalous if we have agreed to let him go under any circumstances, but especially without a replacement there before we sell. The sadistic side of me hopes we let him go before securing a replacement, then we get gazumped again on said replacement, and thus watch the whole thing burn down to the ground.
  2. Yep, people are naive if they think Tonali and others aren't capable of doing the same. It's the number one reason Isak has to be told he's not leaving in this window or the January one.
  3. So not only do they want to steal our player on the cheap, they also want to humiliate us by telling everyone in the football world "look, they came to us and asked us to buy him". If we succumb to this charade I will be fucking raging.
  4. We've been saying this kind of stuff about them for the last two years with regards to them taking on the PL rules etc and they haven't done shit. No idea where your confidence comes from that they will stand firm on a £150m minimum price. They also gave ASM away. All the indications so far point to them being all talk, no action and meek as fuck when it comes to dealing with this particular issue.
  5. Problem is we are saying we don’t want to sell, when the message should be “we aren’t selling”. Since we aren’t negotiating a new contract then it seems we are in fact selling if our valuation is met. The only questions that remain are…what is our valuation and can we get a replacement in before the window shuts. Unless an absurd bid in the £200m range is mounted then we shouldn’t be selling.
  6. “about” being the key word though. So yeah, it could be £135m up front. Still not enough.
  7. I haven't revised anything. I just said again in that post that they wont pay £150m in hard cash. It will be in the £130m range with the rest in add-ons. If its £150m plus significant add ons then it might be worth gritting the teeth and taking it. The simple fact is though that 4 months ago we comfortably beat these cunts in a final. With a well planned window we could have gone toe to toe with them this season. But here we are, about to assist them in pulling away from us again.
  8. Victim? Fuck you on about? I agree, they cant force us to sell. Which is why we shouldn't be selling at all, unless its something truly incredible. And £150m isnt incredible, its simply his true value. £200m would be in the "incredible" realm. We are obviously fishing for Sesko whilst knowing that the dippers are now busy getting shot of Diaz and Nunez so that they can get their bid. And I bet its not £150m up front. The only scenario I can see now where Isak stays is if we only have Wissa as our striker.
  9. Agree, but as unpalatable as it is, he’s right on this one. A broken clock is right twice a day etc
  10. He is a tool but he’s right about this. The optics to our top stars are appalling. You can tell from Bruno’s body language in the press conferences that it’s not looking like the brochure he was promised.
  11. I hate this cunt with a passion but his reaction, as an outsider, is a perfect illustration of how badly we have fucked up by allowing it to happen. The optics of it are simply dreadful for us.
  12. This is such massive copium. Liverpool fans are gloating because they are about to sign arguably the best striker in the world right now. Nothing whatsoever to do about NUFC being a threat. We really have totally fucked this up. The fact that we aren’t in contract negotiations with him speaks volumes and we are just waiting for the dippers to get their funds in order. I bet he goes for about £130m with a remaining £15m being in add ons. The scouse must be laughing their balls off.
  13. I think the exact opposite. He should be forced to stay. The prospect of seeing him in a dipper shirt is horrific.
  14. You think? Not so sure myself. Just cos Liverpool offered 120m doesnt mean eufa will agree with that kind of value.
  15. Aye thats what I meant, I thought it would be inflated. You think eufa will value Isak at £150m?
  16. I mean, eufa would allow the transfer fee to be paid to us etc, but we'd then get a fine for breaking the related party rules. Which again sounds trivial but I just dont think PIF would break any kind of rule.
  17. They dont disregard it, as far as I'm aware anyway. You just get fined as punishment.
  18. They would allow it but we'd get a fine. It obviously sounds trivial but based on how they are operating with regards to PSR I just dont seem them risking falling foul of eufa, so its a no go.
  19. Still not convinced. This lot seem shit scared to get on the wrong side of any of the authorities. I'm absolutely certain if Isak goes to Saudi he willl be back in the prem within 18 months.
