1. Hehe it's not, it could be Carlisle United currently or Berwick Rangers, they've just moved like the Rams did in "Football", you should be familiar with this concept being a yankee doodle dandy and all that ? It would be a difficult one for me because deep down who would you be supporting ? I've fallen off Football so hard, I read that and wondered when Derby moved. That's a question for a Ravens fan, or a Browns fan. They'll have a lot of insight there. God, a Newcastle and Cleveland Browns fan. If that guy exists, he had crows feet at 12.
2. You said there would be no replacement in the original post. If there is a replacement for the club, I'm in.
3. It's hard though following a sport without rooting for a team. I love sport in general, football in particular. But whatever sport I watch I always like to root for someone or some team. The trouble is for me I'm shite at picking teams to follow, the Falcons in Rugby, Mariners in Baseball and the Dolphins in American Football are examples of my wank choices. Yeah, but working in your hypothetical scenario, I'm already a committed Newcastle fan when the club ceases to exist. I'm not local and have never been to the country, but I'd still be unable to wash my hands and move on. I'd check in on the PL and lament our absence, but I'd never be able to follow another English team.
4. Probably still watch the PL, but with considerably less interest. I'd end up finding a team in another country.
5. We go on and on about the passion of your (soccer) crowds, and you're working hard as hell to be like us? Christ, people.
6. There a link to him saying this stuff?

Even Owen has price

Thank god. I'm not the only one sitting here with "Money money money monieeeeeeeeeeee!" playing on loop.
8. Villa fans delighted, we're delighted (pending replacement, I suppose). Sign of a good deal?
9. The group they're in isn't going to do them any favors.
10. Well said. We have less desirable players still at the club therefore we can't/shouldn't accept a good offer for Milner? .... strange logic that. Its a good deal like but I can still be sad about seeing a player I like go! I'll slow down play for stepovers and bad crosses all day for 30 grand a week. I'll be so god damn nice it'll make you sick. Photograph after photograph of me kissing puppydogs and wearing v neck sweaters. I like the guy too, but he wasn't getting any better here.
11. Milner in/Barry out? Are we just getting a bit of the Liverpool money?
12. There is a 100 page topic waiting to be created before Monday.
13. That puts almost 4 million in Leeds' pocket, though. 12 million is a dream fee. Coming away with 9m wouldn't be bad at all.
14. I still think the guy is a good player, he has a hell of a shot, he just takes too long to get it off. Still, 10+ is crazy money.
15. See, now I'm nervous. 10m+! What do they see that we don't see?
16. So they could end up paying around £13 million for Milner and Smith. Wow. Wow.
17. Ten Million! Ten! Holy fucking shit!

The PANIC! Thread

Great, now I have to think about this shit. I wish I didn't care.
19. No Japanese! Then I'm back on Beasley. You're American, right? Yeah.
20. No Japanese! Then I'm back on Beasley.
21. I've only seen him six or seven times, but what about Morimoto from Catania? Came off a big injury and seemed decent last year. Anyone know more about him?

Thick as mince

To be fair, we were going to finish above Arsenal last year. Can't believe they have Gordon in the same league as Shay.
