It's one of the major things we haven't replaced with Trippier being phased out. We miss his creativity on the ball. -

Absolutely infuriating how much we play side to side or backwards once we get up to midfield. There's sod all creativity. -

Acres of space for Fulham down our left so far -
Could be recalled from Boro in January with BDB injured, according to Mark Douglas.

For me, that describes the months of August, September, October, November, and December. That's not really bad timing for this fixture.

The problem I have with Howe on recruitment is, we knew Elanga was stupidly overpriced and not what we needed. We knew Ramsey had injury problems and not the creative midfielder we were so lacking. We knew we were needing to have backup for fullbacks. And we knew we needed a long term goalkeeping solution. We might've sold Isak for 125m, but we've spunked double that on players who are either bang-average (Elanga, Ramsey, Ramsdale), don't fit our system (Woltemade), or don't have long term resale value or peak performance (Wissa). So many other clubs this summer have shown that much better players could be bought for much, MUCH less money. So the only thing Howe could rely on is knowing exactly how to use these players he's wanted for so long. And that just isn't the case. We're clueless, we're toothless, we lack intensity and tactical understanding, and we're mentally weak. You can't spend that much money on players you want and regress this quickly and not have criticism come your way. I'm not 'Howe Out', but as many have said, he needs to do a deeper rethink than he is letting on.

Shame they couldn't find this passion and urgency during the actual match.

He nearly did, once. That's as much as I remember.
