  1. Seems the only way the penny will finally drop on this man sized ballbag is if he manages enough clubs to reach a critical mass of homicidal hatred. He must be getting pretty close.
  2. Just a phenomenal all-round goal.
  3. Yeah, Mick was fantastic. Big miss.
  4. Don't think that's unreasonable. I would certainly like to see a more positive approach for this one.
  5. You are being a bit ridiculous, man. There are several people who claimed that they couldn't safely give their opinion on here without the mob jumping all over them. El Cid said such on several occasions.. It's been going on for awhile, and you are likely being willfully obtuse in denying that. We even pointed this out to you before when you denied it earlier. Passion is great, but when it begins to short circuit reason is when I have an issue. Yes, the Southampton game is extremely important. But even if we lose, there is still some chance of avoiding the drop. None of us will be happy or content about it, but I don't think that believing that relegation is dead certain if such happens is particularly constructive, or accurate.
  6. And c'mon with the typical NUFC thing, man. That shit is seriously old.
  7. Case in point on the wild overreactions thing. Difference between concern and wildly waving your arms in the air, which you have been doing for a few months. The brave comment is aimed at people who think they are being censored.
  8. Seriously. It's not only the rampant overreacting. It's the needless level of misery. Cynical just for the sake of being cynical...and we still have 9 fixtures left. We’ve been here before though and for all Rafa’s qualities, it’s not cut and dried. There is a very very serious danger that we will go down and people rightly look at our fixture with Southampton as not only winnable, but a must win. There are far too many excuses peddled on here from the manager to the players to the opposition, pre match, during the match and post match to even Ashley. Thankfully since the creation of AO.com that seems to have disappeared. If people don’t regard the Southampton game as a must win, they are crazy. They are below us, they are a fellow relegation candidate, their form is worse than ours. We are at home. There is 3 points at stake, we are running out of winnable games. People say as long as we don’t lose. f*** that. We have won 2 games all year in the league. We need to start winning, draws are not good enough. Beating Outhampton will also push them further behind. The simple acceptance of our fate in here is unreal and as equally as tiresome as the things yous claim is making this place worse. I just hope Rafa doesn’t think like some on here. That a draw wouldn’t be the end of the world. It wouldn’t, but it would push us further in the s*** and when you’ve only won 2 games all year and have a poor home record while others around you are showing signs of being able to beat teams and win games, it’s a f***ing huge concern, a massive one. 3 points would be a massive massive boon in our fight to stay up, a draw would be no use. A defeat, devastating. If we can’t beat Southampton at home what makes people think we will beat the others at home? I mean f***ing hell people are saying Arsenal and Chelsea at home are winnable games. Madness. Some need a reality check, maybe relegation will wake people up. Doubt it though. Anyway here’s hoping we win because we f***ing need it! Oh Jesus. Totally misrepresenting the views of many of us on here. You.come in with "it's Newcastle so everything will go wrong." For about everything lately. It's gotten rather hackneyed. There are 9 fixtures left. We are in a fight, which is cause for concern. But some of these wild overreactions are just plain ridiculous. Even worse, some of you act like you are being brave for them. You're not. It's a bit similar, although admittedly on a lesser scale, to some of the reasoning I saw with the Infowars crowd.

  10. It's a horrible phrase because of the very subjective nature of these topics. Something racist grandma's use.
  11. you're a f***ing thick c*** like. Go on, gimme a ban. In the words of the Limmy caller "well worth it mate, he's s****". He's entitled to his opinion man, no need to call anybody a "thick c***". Be nice man But it's not his opinion, he does it for bites. That is my opinion. We were f***ing garbage. How would you describe it? Ok I’ll have a go. We were totally outplayed by a team who have at least one player who cost more than our entire eleven. Let’s go with one of their non attacking options for a start - Virgil van Dijk. That transfer fee of more than £70 million would probably take us out before you even look at Salah, Firmino and Sane who collectively cost more than £100 million...What do you expect Rafa to do? We are trying to stay up and not getting humped by 4 or 5 goals against sides like this could be important. Goal difference will probably give us an edge. No one likes it but it is reality. Reason is probably not the most effective device.
  12. I based a lot of my comments on that first 35 minutes or so and stand by that. Yes I’d rather lose 4-0 trying than 1 or 2-0 and not, but that’s just me. I never once said or damanded we go toe to to with City btw or anyone. Rafa goes unless we get taken over regardless. His stock will rise even more if he keeps us up ironically so he will be in high demand. Part of me wants us to go down, Rafa goes, fans desert the club and Ashley is left with an empty shell of a club and the fan base mobilise and kick off and truly drive the fat dung out. We did try...to keep them from scoring. I think it's madness to prefer getting shelled and giving it a go personally, considering how valuable goal difference can be at the bottom. That's not going down fighting. That's ignoring the bigger picture.
  13. The context being that you overreacted? I think you're still being a bit over the top. Understand where you are coming from, but NUFC is not cursed. We are just a poorly run club, but with an excellent manager that gives us a pretty good chance of staying up. The bigger question is what happens when if stay up? Safe bet is we lose Rafa anyway. But when there's even a glimmer of hope...
  14. "I would rather us get smashed and have a go" Weren't those basically your words after we lost to Man City 1-0? Our GD is not so bad considering.
  15. Hence why the Man City games may be important
  16. That’s why I switched it off after the first few minutes when I saw how we had lined up. Was always only going to go one way. Not really in the mood to celebrate a 2-0 defeat either, just because it wasn’t a humping. FFS nobody's celebrating I never said anyone was, I just said I am not. Oh, I missed the FFS out. I just thought it was amusing that you added that.

  18. Our GD didn't take a beating. I am satisfied enough with the result. Given how congested it is, losing only 5 goals between Liverpool and Man City may be massive.
  19. the same Arsenal who snatched the title away from a dominant Liverpool in virtually last kick of the game back in '89.
  20. If he's a Kremlin troll, he must be the retarded nephew of one of the top government troll masters, so they put him on the NUFC beat.
  21. To state the obvious, anything that doesn't hurt our GD too much would be just fine.
  22. Has to be a WUM. Nobody can actually be that stupid. Right?
