I wouldn't write Routledge off yet tbh. He did look like a PL player against Man Utd. He looked great against Villa (well, everyone did). I think it's a lack of confidence with him. We should have brought him on yesterday (into a winning team) to show what he can do.

I've said before the season we would finish in the top half. After those defeats to Blackpool, Stoke and draw against Wigan I thought we would be in relegation trouble. Not too sure what to think now tbh, but I really hope that with a bit consistency and no injuries to our key players (without counting Harper and Ben Arfa) we can finish in the top half which would be absolutely brilliant.

Article about Tiote. The difference between him and Smith could really be the difference for us this season.

Er, he'd been largely total horseshit prior to West Ham. That's rubbish, man. He was mainly brilliant up until the Stoke game. This. Can't believe how bad some people are talking about Barton. Whenever he's been on the pitch for us he was a very good player for us - of course he won't be able to produce a performance like he did yesterday all the time, but every player has a poor game here and there. And even if he had a poor game he still often wasn't worse than the rest of our midfield.

The German TV commentator said there were 7 arrests made before the kick off. Saying that, he was talking shit for pretty much 90 minutes, typical German.

Wouldn't be too sure about that tbh. At least at home he doesn't seem to be that. He absolutely is.. If he gets injured we fall back to playing Smith.. Makes a world of difference to the way our other players can operate on the pitch I guarantee you. Our midfield is so much more balanced with Tiote in,it's unreal. He is the sort of player who doesn't get the headline performances, but is crucial to a team's stability.. Ok, true. I haven't thought about playing Smith tbh.
