Is that Wigan gone down then? (Serious question, as I don't know how important Insomnia was for them) about their best player tbh Good then. Wigan should have gone down for a few years now. Feeling sorry for some players though, playing in front of 15k fans or so at home.

Why?? Because he's one of our best players, drives on the play and talks a lot with our players. He's had a decent start to the season but apart from a couple of games he's done f*** all to warrant being anywhere near captain?? Fine. Be happy with Nolan or Smith leading us out then. Being a captain isn't being our best player, although it inevitably leads them to being in the team more. I wouldn't want Barton as captain. He's not much of a leader and his somewhat muddy past wouldn't exactly help matters. Nolan is actually the best candidate we currently have for captain IMO. From what I've seen of him, he leads the line very well and is constantly talking and organising everyone all the time. Nolan does a good job as a captain, no doubt about it. But the thing is, I'd rather drop him than Barton.

He can turn into whatever he wants, as long as he doesn't leave us at the end of the season with no proper replacement ready. (Kinnear is always waiting...)

In other news, Wolfsburg have finally confirmed the signing of Diego. http://d.yimg.com/i//ng/sp/eurosport/20100827/25/f9e9a97ffe7f453a095c059678b2ac71.jpg

Or he has some date later the day today? Is he single actually? He's married. Ok, cheers. Could have a Friday afternoon affair, though.

Which fella on which forum? You should read better: THAT fella on THAT other forum. Any more questions?

They are flying. It was just once that they had to go by bus.
-
Bundesliga just started, but they normally are in the first half of the season. More consistent in the second half then.
-
Flying, thats a load of bollocks, Ashley makes them go on by their own cars. Fixed.

All he needs to know are words like ball, goal, offside, foul, red/yellow card, get him!, get the ball away! shooooot... not too hard to learn on a few hours flight. "Stop choking him!"

West Ham have signed Victor Obina on a season long loan from Inter Milan btw.

As I said before, I'd rather drop Jonas than Routledge.

Not much too choose. Probably 22.

Ben arfa in, Routledge out, Tiote in, Smith out. Nolan captain. Perch Colo Willi Jose Barton Tiote Ben Arfa Nolan Gutti Caroll Routledge > Jonas. I think (and hope) Hughton thinks that way, too. Jonas, works harder and tracks back better. Routledge is a bit of a luxury, not sure if he can step up to this level though. We would be too lightweight. Routledge was one of our best players against Man Utd and Villa (offensively) imo.

Then Barton. (Who always should have been our captain imo)
-
Still Nolan?
-
He is here to destroy the game of our opponents, not to be our playmaker, I guess.
-
That's my opinion as well.

Carroll as a lone striker with Ben Arfa behind him would be great, though.
