  1. Inter to me were not the best team in the tournament Defensively, they were.
  2. Congrats, you're right.
  3. They did win the Champions League, just in case you forgot.
  4. I'd put money on it that Ronaldo still believes that. Does he ever change his mind?
  5. Would someone be allowed to post that moment of the post match interview? As I said, they don't have it on the Sky Sports site and if anyone could upload it from this sky plus thing then great. If not, never mind!
  6. That should be the case. There a certain players we shouldn't play in the Carling Cup until the very late rounds, as Barton, Carroll, Routledge, Enrique and probably even Jonas and Nolan. We can't cope with injuries to them (with our squad at the moment)
  7. Is all i saw. Yeah, it's a bit true.
  8. According to? Hughton. Where and when did he say that?
  9. I can see Mourinho winning in two successive seasons. My prediction: Bayern will go out much, much earlier than last year. I think they'll get through the group stages and will be knocked out straight after. Inter won't get into the semis, as well as Barcelona. Final will be: Real Madrid - Man Utd (And Jose will probably stay in England, like he stayed in Madrid last season)
  10. Ok, cheers. No wonder they made the cut before it on their website.
  11. Aye, he's class. That Sky Sports guy was trying to stitch him up. "So will Steven Taylor be in your 25 man squad?" "That'll be discussed between the player and the club." "... but aren't you the manager?" "Yes I'm the manager, but I'm not going to tell you." Chris Hughton 1-0 Sky Sports Giant Did he really said that last sentence? On the Sky Sports website the video ends before that if it was so.
  12. I think he keeps the suit back until we're (back) in the Champions League.
  13. Milner played for Villa even though he was pretty much a Man City player, Ben Arfa played for Marseille after being told he could leave. Good point. Milner also played for us against Coventry (two years ago today) and was sold days later.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Yes Balls. The only saving grace is he'd prefer a Prem league move and get 1st team football here. No, the thing is, that Bremen don't want him. Well they were waiting for them to confirm their offer yesterday and they did not send the conformation fax. Oh, must have missed those news it seems. All I new about was that their president denied every interest in a TV interview.
  15. You could put down a list of all EURO winners of the last years, and yet you'll find fuckig awfull Greece in there.

  17. Don't know. Just posted the team that played last weekend. I basically know absolutely nothing about them.
  18. Another reason why I wouldn't be that happy with that transfer.
  19. Not too sure about it, after having seen Smith playing very well against Villa and not too bad against Man Utd. Could be that Tiote will replace Smith and Bougherra will be the replacement for Taylor. Allthough, I'll be happy about the transfer if it's Hughton's decision.
  20. Something like that: * 01 Hahnemann * 03 Elokobi * 06 Craddock * 11 Ward * 16 Berra * 32 Foley * 08 Henry * 14 Jones * 17 Jarvis * 09 Ebanks-Blake * 29 Doyle

As bad as I think of those plans of putting some SD.com signs all over SJP - it could be much worse. He could let paint the whole stadium into blue/white/red, for example.
  22. Footballers aren't part time workers, though. They train every day in the week (if they don't have a match on Wednesday, for example) and have to play on the weekend as well. Add the traveling time to all that and you'll see they aren't very much at home. Added to that is, they won't earn that money till they're 70. It'll stop in the 30s and can virtually stop every day (heavy injury). The thing is, though, they are earning big big money with their hobbies. (I don't think for example being a plumber is a hobby of many ) I agree, they need a reality check, but for them reality is probably something like looking at some of the Man City players who are earning even more than 60k a week.
  23. Just watched Hughton's post match interview from last night. (for those who haven't watched it yet: http://www.skysports.com/video/inline/0,26691,16497_6337943,00.html) Is he really not that much involved in the Taylor situation? I just hope it won't end like the Milner situation 2 years ago...
