It's Anelka's younger brother That's what I thought, well I actually thought "who does he look like, hmmmm that's it Anelka" then scrolled down and saw your post. Weren't we linked with an Algerian defender? Doesn't look like Ben Arfa What if that's just not a football player, at all? He looks like a footballer. Stop being a killjoy! You could also say he looks like a child soldier...

His little bit of beard suggest so.

Seriously, that picture could have been taken anywhere btw. BUT, nufc.com said:

It looks more like him than HBA. And the right one isn't his fucking manager because he's listening to an iPod!

Is that 100 % sure that it is him and his agent on that picture btw? I find it's quite strange that his agent is listening to some music on his iPod. Edit: I was talking about that picture on .com http://nufc.com/2010-11images/2010-08-27ben-arfa-darsley.jpg
  8. True. Exactly two years ago today, when Milner put in his transfer request, most thought we'd be on the up as well (despite the Milner situation). Obviously we were on the down, starting to accelerate.
  9. The fact that we got promoted last season suggest so, at least. (The fact that we got relegated a year earlier, suggest otherwise). But in general, I'd say, yes. Slowly but somehow steadily.
  10. That's stupid tbh. For Hughton it is a case of: Nolan > Barton > Smith/Guthrie Why's that stupid? Haven't you basically agreed with me? Aye, that's why I edited my post, saying I've misread your post. Edit:

  12. As I've said. He played with an injury. I don't know how bad it was for him, but I think it could have had something to do with his bad form at that time.
  13. I wouldn't write Simpson off yet. He played through the pain for some time last season.
  14. I'd be happy with him as he's better than our current strikers but Carroll imo. I'd be happy if we didn't sign him, as we don't need him desperately.
  15. True. I thought the same about Owen, Viduka and Campbell for some reason.
  16. He wasn't shocking. He just played in the matches we had to play with the likes of Geremi, Butt, Smith and Harewood and also with Kadar at the back. Put him in the side that played everyone out of SJP after January and he would have looked a lot better player.
  17. Would do O.K. in the Bundesliga, I guess.

  20. As I said before, I'd rather drop Jonas than Routledge. Definitely. Just because he's Argentinian doesn't mean he's that good, which seems to affect a lot of peoples judgements. There's space for them both in the first team though. Jonas and Enrique work wll together and give the opposing teams flank a bloody hard time. Why change that? Perch and Routledge worked very well together against Villa, I thought. In one game, fair enough....Jonas and Enrique have done it over a season now. Perch and Routledge only had one game so far. (I don't count the Man Utd game, where Jonas and Enrique haven't worked together as well)

  23. Why?? Because he's one of our best players, drives on the play and talks a lot with our players. He's had a decent start to the season but apart from a couple of games he's done f*** all to warrant being anywhere near captain?? Fine. Be happy with Nolan or Smith leading us out then. Being a captain isn't being our best player, although it inevitably leads them to being in the team more. I wouldn't want Barton as captain. He's not much of a leader and his somewhat muddy past wouldn't exactly help matters. Nolan is actually the best candidate we currently have for captain IMO. From what I've seen of him, he leads the line very well and is constantly talking and organising everyone all the time. Nolan does a good job as a captain, no doubt about it. But the thing is, I'd rather drop him than Barton. Same here. But like I say, the best player isn't already the best captain. If we have to get rid of Nolan, then I say we pick someone like Campbell as his replacement. Campbell isn't even sure to be one of our first choice centre backs. But yes, he'd be a good choice as well.
