Exactly. Another epic Fergie troll. He's such a cunt. It's actually very good managing. Van Gaal probably won't have thought that Rooney would even be on the bench.
-
16 € on Rooney to score anytime tonight.

Hopefully not. He was ok in this league. Won't be ok for Premier League football and is too old as well. but for free though? I'm not saying we can't to better, but think he would do ok for a season. We would need to get better striker one day, but we could do with investing in a lot of areas for next season. Didn't read the article and didn't know he was for free. For free he's ok for a season. Other areas are more important anyway. Edit: Would still prefer someone younger and probably better.

Krul Simpson Williamson Coloccini Enrique Routledge Nolan Barton Jonas Carroll Lovenkrands Is what I hope for. Would like to see Krul in a League match with a full strength defence in front of him. I think Barton will play because of Guthrie's injury.

I have put 1€ on Man U winning 7-1. I checked the facts: The only time they've turned a quarter-final tie from a 2-1 defeat into a win was against AS Rome and that was 7-1. Btw that little 1€ returns 401.

Here the same what I think about Simpson. Did Nolan get Bolton relegated "on his own"? No. He was their captain and they played in Europe. In all fairness Bolton didnt paly 4-4-2 too much with him in the middle I haven't talked about the way we should play. Just said he was in their side. And tbh I can see Hughton playing loads of 4-5-1 at least away from home next season with Nolan behind a striker. aw fuck. Why? It worked this season to get 1-0 wins away from home. I would be more than happy to get a 1-0 win away from home against the likes of Wigan, Bolton or Birmingham. At home we can and should play 4-4-2 with Guthrie and Barton through the middle (or someone new) and should have a party.

Wish him all the best and hopefully he'll get a few more years. Livestrong!

I have added two bets to this. 15 € on ManU to qualify for next round. 17 € on ManU to win. Have the feeling that either both come off or both go wrong.

One player hardly will get us relegated, will he? I'd say the same about Nolan next season. What? That we will get us relegated or won't?

Probably, but if it's a choice between Simpson and bringing Beye back....... Totally agree. Sure there are better options out there but if it was a straight choice between the 2 I'd go for Beye. Bringing Beye back will simply destroy team morale. He wanted out when the going got tough and he deserves whatever he position he is in now. The main difference between this season and last season's team is Team Morale and we will be depending on this to pull us through especially if we have limited transfer funds, which is looking very likely. This. The reason for our current success isn't only that we have the best squad in this league but it's heavily down to the morale of the team. Rather have Simpson (who still is young and could make the step up) than Beye.
-
Just checked it on transfermarkt.de, if we were in the Premier League now we would have the youngest squad on average. (24,4 years). Arsenals' squad is 25,1 and 2nd. Quite interesting considering that a few years ago we had many players in their late 20s/early 30s. I think it's a good thing to have a squad mainly of young players as we can build a squad and probably be successful while spending little. So I hope we will only sign players who are in a good age like we've done in January and no more Beye's, Owen's or even Viduka's.
-
Beye would get a lot of stick for bailing. Too old as well. I really hope we won't resign Beye. He went on because he wanted to leave us and him coming back now would be bad for team morale. I hope we won't resign any player who left us after relegation.

We should go for his half-brother Jerome Boateng of Hamburg. Very quick defender and can play as a right back as well as centre back. Kevin Prince Boateng seems more realistic, though. Jerome Boaezeeeee was being linked with Man U and Man City the other day, so not sure we have a chance with that one. £12m to City is supposed to the rumour. Chelsea also having a sniff. Oh, didn't know he is that wanted.

Taylor. It seems that he has to go anyway after the Carroll fight.

Because Souness and Roeder weren't successful. Hughton at the moment is successful. If he's a good manager we'll know that time next year.

For tomorrow I've already have put some money on Inter, Barca, Lyon and ManU all to qualify for the next round. (Put that bet on last week) Will probably put quite a fair bit on ManU to win. With or without Rooney - if they fail to win at home against Bayern I'll probably give up on football.
-
The Barca one returns about 25€, the Inter bet 22€. Happy I've done it!

you deserve to get stuck with the shame ok

to win or to qualify for the next round?

Why can't I change my vote here btw? Have voted for Harper but now I think that's a rubbish vote.
