  1. Absolutely, starting the season without Cisse would be a massive risk. i still think they'll be looking for ~10m from russia or UAE or something for cisse and will then pay the difference for austin
  2. I don't think we'll sell him unless we get good money so I reckon he will still be here. Suspect the same, who the hell will pay double figures for him? We'll probably get double what we'd get now with proper coaching and him playing central. I am worried Mclaren sees him on the right though. There only 3 central spots though, and going off others opinions it doesn't sound like Sissoko-Wij would work as a 2, and Wij I assume is a guaranteed starter. So you either drop De Jong or Sissoko, or play Sissoko out right which isn't ideal, but I wouldn't say it'd be a travesty of Shola up front Cisse on the wing proportions. Can't see Sissoko reacting well to being dropped to the bench in a Euro's year either. Making more and more sense to sell and reinvest in a proper right winger if we can get a good price. Just a shame De Jong's injury record is so pants. if we're looking to keep the ball more sissoko should not be playing You can keep the ball by passing it sideways and backwards. To score goals though you do need players who will drive forward and look to get in the box to support the strikers. that's wijnaldum's role though surely? you need a mix like, i get it, but if sissoko is staying he'll expect to be starting more often than not and i'm not sure he's right for us playing through the centre unless given a yaya sort of role with licence to get forward and 2 covering him, but that would surely clash with where we presumably intend to play de jong I think Sissoko will be played on the right side of midfield, I don't think either Wijnaldum or De Jong can do that role. They'll be vying for the central positions along with Anita and Colback. how are you seeing that line up like, 4-4-2 or 4-5-1/4-3-3 mitrovic de jong aarons wijnaldum colback () sissoko something like that?

  4. Good point about Januzaj, I'd be amazed if he's not going out on loan.

  6. This is my take on it like, unless there's someone who fancies setting up a purely counter attacking team with him as the crux then he'll stay with us. Maybe Pardew if they let him blow more wedge.

  8. Dont see why not Chelsea want rid and hes fairly young and probably not too expensive. Sure Jose would happily settle for loan to buy too given they accepted Fiorentinas offer. Salah himself would be the obvious stumbling block though What's his story like, wants to stay in longdong or something?
  9. Wonder how it would go down with the gen pop if we only get Wijnaldum, this guy and Mbema? s****. We need 2 cb's, at least 1 winger and another striker...imo. People starting to give me the 'bet you wish you renewed' comments now....ermmmm, nah. Don't need another striker if we keep Cissé IMO. As we're likely to only play with one striker most of the time, I'm quite happy with Cissé, Mitrovic and Ayoze (and Riviere as last ditch option). We desperately need a winger and preferably one more CB other than Mbemba. I want a LB as well, who knows when the next time someone wants to break Haidara's legs is. A left sided full back that can also cover RB would be nice, but I think the club sees Dummett and Colback as the back up LBs and Anita as cover for Janmaat. Could do with a good starting LB that can also cover for Janmaat. Someone like Santon. This Mbemba can play RB as well yeah? MYM says hi.

  11. I'm saying I'd be starting Perez in De Jong's spot behind the striker for now and making De Jong earn it.
  12. I'd love it if this kid isn't just spouting bullshit about wearing the shirt when he was little, then come in and fucking own the place on his debut. He could start by telling Williamson to get to fuck the first time he launches a 60 yard ball out for a throw in.
  13. I think he earned the shirt to be honest, McLaren was bleating about Cisse's contribution but Ayoze had a massive season. He'd be rightfully gutted not to be first choice imo.
  14. it's a good example of exactly how few fucks mueller gives tbh
  15. sort of a fair comment but there is no viable left winger beyond aarons hence i'd be starting him, and i'd be starting perez in the number 10 spot 'cause he's earned it and de jong hasn't if there was a viable alternative to aarons then aye, he'd need to be earning his spot too
  16. i see sterling has more or less left his ludicrous fucking hair at anfield in favour of something more sensible and less feminine...he's go all the way now this kid
  17. If I was being overly critical of the guy I'd argue that he's taking the classic English manager track of starting the 'established' players because they're 'experienced' and only when they fail (because they're shit) will be turn to lads like Ayoze. The Pardew method if you will. Really hope I'm wrong but unless they're unfit Aarons and Perez should be starting games and people like De Jong, Obertan and Gouffran should be the ones earning their places.
  18. Love Mueller like, he's as niggly as fuck as well on the pitch, fights for everything. Hope those cunts don't get him.
  19. Shaqiri?, would excite me, really like him as a player and still only 23. Aye that would do. For that price and age he seems ideal for us like, wonder if he's on mental wages or something?
  20. This. He'll probably be offering Colo a 4 year deal on the same wages as well
  21. no idea who lee nelson is but the more people that publicly humiliate blatter the better to me
