Also our contract with adidas doesn't run-out till the end of the season. Imo we won't see it in the last game. What are you talking about? We always show our new shirt in the last game.

Yep, very tough group to call with any certainty although I think Mexico and Uruguay might just squeeze through. I've been racking my brain about Group A for a week now. Could be any of them who come out. Don't get why Group G is the public's "group of death". Pretty straightforward that Brazil and Portugal will make it out of it.

Now there came a Norwegian voiceover almost blowing up my surround system as the sound is fucking louder than the studio sound.

Eurosport in having the absolute worst pre-WC show ever. They speak in African, Portuguese, Spanish, French or whatever, and there's no texting because it's live and no interpretors. Do they really think they make a good show when they have so many languages nobody gets what's going on without being a complete language nerd?

£35 on USA to beat England at 7.00

He's looked very good for the US from what I've seen, I agree he's looking like having a bright future ahead of him.

While I'd have no doubt believing Ashley being capable of something cunt-ish like that, I doubt it going by some of the most recent Hughton quotes.

Would be canny, probably not massive wages either.

Why would we be stupid enough to offer players we could get £ for away for free? IMO we can't and won't get any money for them, you realise that every month they're here being useless they cost us hundreds of thousands of pounds? Obviously if they have a real reason to believe they'll get a few million for them then fine, but if its a case of nobody being prepared to buy them then IMO Ashley would be wise to look at ways of giving the fuckers away. We'd easily get £1m for Smith from teams like Wolves and Bolton if they had any interest, also think we'd recoup some of the Xisco money from some random Spanish side. Smith is a decent squadplayer nonetheless so I wouldn't get rid knowing we won't sign a replacement, even if he is on silly money.

Ever since the sixties when we first started getting English football on the telly, Norwegians have had two teams, a Norwegian one and an English one. It's as natural to us as getting up in the morning. I can see how it seems unnatural to Brits, but at least we started decades before the there was a thing called the PL. Can't say anything for the ones claiming to support more teams than that though, at least on the same continent, even to me that seems ludicrous. What happens if the they meet? Most of my mates follow an English team, and their local team as well. In my case that's Viking from Stavanger, but I for some reason I've never taken any interest in them. A mate of mine is a season ticket holder at Viking Stadion and a die-hard Evertonian. I don't see how it is possible to spend so much energy on two teams, a bit like mattis with his Inter and Newcastle. I don't really spend much energy on Rosenborg, it's more going to matches and making the Norwegian league more interesting, which is decent, since it's active in the summer when there's no other footy on unless there's a WC or EC.

It's Rosenborg. But if they'd met I'd be in the Newcastle end, no doubt.

Georgie Welcome Because his name is awesome.

"piss teams in it with a few stand outs" could describe almost every league in europe. after watching quite a bit last season from all the top major euro leagues plus the championship, spanish segunda and the german and italian second tiers. only the german top division when watched didn't show a huge gulf between the top teams and the rest. Well, yeah. But my point is that if you replace the piss teams with the top teams from "lesser" foreign leagues, they'd make a fight for it. I can agree the shit teams from "lesser" leagues are worse than the shit teams from the Championship, just not that the top teams from "lesser"leagues are worse than the shit Championship teams.

Happy birthday.

The Championship is very overrated by the Brits, was very visible as well before we started playing in it how everyone thought we'd get raped in it, when in reality it's pretty much piss teams in it with a few stand-outs.

It's ITV paying the celebs, the donated money all go to the charity. I know for one James Kyson Lee is donating all he's paid to the charity, hopefully the rest are doing it as well considering what they're worth. Money that could have gone to charity. Yeah, but most of the celebs are donating their fees to the charity. So hopefully the amount of nice celebs are larger than the number of greedy cunts.
