  1. Azerbaijani Premier League next tbh. If someone wanted it then let them have it. I hear Qarabağ Futbol Klubu are the shizzle.
  2. Azerbaijani Premier League next tbh.
  3. Neither would I, not just because of the shite quality, but because it would be totally redundant to have something like that here.
  4. Let's make a thread for every league in every nation, yaaaaay. http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,63745.0.html tbh
  5. Show some respect. R.I.P. yeah whenever anyone dies lets get all RIPish. it's a shame but today many thousands of people we'd never heard of died, quite possibly many more deserving of a thread. there is a cloying sentimentality around at the moment that doesn't ring true. Many thousands die each day, yes. It's different when it's someone you actually knew existed though, and even more different when it's someone you actually knew. It's different degrees of acknowledgment of peoples deaths, it's really all easily understandable and I fail to see why you do not understand it when pretty much everyone else does. Then again you're probably just on the wind-up as usual, albeit doing so in this thread is more bad taste than your usual groove. R.I.P
  6. Look at past performances, not just for us, but for City and so on. Then compare to what we have.
  7. Really enjoyed this, felt annoyed Hughton blatantly went for the draw when he subbed Carroll as we had a great period of pressure before, could've won imo.
  8. Did Shearer just mention he wanted Butt out? I wasn't paying attention as he said it so I might've heard it wrong.
  9. We don't even know if it was Barton who started, for all we know it could've been the Argies who started it. Hughton being a dumb cock sides with them, and Barton walks.
  10. Clutching at straws here but could it be a case of Shearer returning next week and Barton has been told in no uncertain terms that AS still holds it against him so he stormed out of training They had cleared the air between eachother and made up before Shearer left, iirc.
  11. I've heard he stormed out of training yesterday and didn't travel.
  12. This is front page news in Norway
  13. For some reason I find watching average football sides play more entertaining than world class ones.

    RIP sale thread.

Not really helping your cause with that post
  15. He's good enough for a mid-table Prem team. Nothing special. Have been to 3-4 Lillestrøm games the last year and i must say i`m surprised he even got a move to PL, as Kaiz say, absolutely nothing special at all. I'd trust Hogdson. Fulham themselves as a team are nothing special mind (i.e mid-table-ish, no real contender for a top spot), so it's a good match.
  16. He's good enough for a mid-table Prem team. Nothing special.
  17. At least he could have gotten a proper tattoo artist to do the job for that price, I barely can see the resemblance from that horrid job.
  18. http://blogs.creativeloafing.com/dailyloaf/files/2009/07/georgehero1.jpg tbh
  19. That's about as sensible. Depends on what you define as a "football club", I could in all honesty "buy" a 5th division Norwegian football club if i wanted
  20. 1) How much money would you need to have in the bank before you were willing to buy the club in the first place? (assume club can be purchased for £100m) £300M 2) Who do you appoint as manager? Alan Shearer, if that fails the ghost of Shearer is gone and someone else can be appointed without him waiting in the wings. I'd go for an up and coming young and hungry manager. 3) Do you take a hands on approach with the clubs operations, or do you appoint a chief executive? As I'd have no idea what to do, I'd appoint someone who'd have an idea. 4) Do you appoint a director of football? No. 5) How much money per season on transfers? If I took over the club with just £300M, I'd say around £40M. 6) Who controls how transfer budget is spent? Manager, with me veto-ing idiotic transfer spending should such an event happen. 7) Do losses (excluding transfer fees) come out of the transfer budget or out of your wallet? Depends. 8) What is your overall business plan? Invest in youth. 9) Would you ever intervene on any issue? Where do you draw the line on intervention? I'd intervene where it'd be necessary since I'd not be a billionare. 10) Where do you sit on match days? Director's Box at away matches. Hopefully manage to be with fans at home. 11) Would you maintain a high or low-profile? Low-profile. 12) How do you respond to the press? I'd talk through PR people. 13) How would you make future managerial decisions? Based on merit. 14) Would there be fan representation on the board? No. Their views would be taken into account though, 15) Anything else you'd do? Make the team do tours abroad in pre-season, money is the future, and more foreign "fans" would mean more money in the pit. Look at Manchester United for example, which ten years ago claimed to have 10m Foreign Fans, in 2009 they claim to have 300m.
  21. I'm sick to my stomach that Hull manages to sign Altidore. FFS.
