Eh? Could you explain please? If we change to a 4-3-3 (for example) who will play the most advanced midfield role? I don't know, maybe Marveaux or Ben Arfa. I don't see Barton as good for that role, he's not a very creative player, neither is he a good goalscorer like Nolan was.

If we change our formation like we suspect we will then Bartons role pretty much becomes redundant anyway.

Really? From my perspective this site if full of people that are prepared to blame their own farts on Ashley. I try to be as objective as I can, and I don't think anyone comes out of this well. I don't blame them for not offering him a new contract when most of his time here has been a waste, but letting him go for free now rather than next year seems illogical.

If he kept his head down and had another good season he would get a better move than QPR.

I honestly don't care as long as the decision goes our way. How much sympathy do we get when we get fucked?
