I feel slightly bad for wanting Unseh to fail, but I can't help it after watching chumps on Sky saying he's a better choice for Everton than Diego Simeone, I still haven't got over it. The problem is though those mental statements just get forgotten, there will be no follow-up where Geoff Shreeves turns to Chris Kirkland and says "So Chris, Unsy is a better choice than Simeone is he? You absolute mug, leave the studio!", as there should be.

He's 34 and his career record in the premier league is 15 in 61, I don't think if he was French anyone would be spunking on him or whatever he thinks should be happening.

I think that's Tim Westwood's whip.

As long as something ambitious and unique was built as a replacement, none of this IKEA bowl nonsense.
-
That's a boring design.
-
I can just see him barking at Pep about how he gives De Bruyne too much freedom to do silly la di daa shit.
-
I think it's an exaggeration that he always does it anyway, I don't think he does it any more than Fellaini always has, and our hero wasn't exactly innocent. Anyway I'm not in favour of elbowing, but the lack of physical play between defenders and forwards is a problem IMO, even less and we're getting close to netball.

Does Carroll really do anything that didn't happen in every game in the 90s? Strikers would get kicked and battered and they would batter the defenders back. Fanny sport these days!

Pardew is going to find himself employed soon enough at this rate, if he doesn't get WBA it'll be Swansea.
-
But if he can get them out of trouble it'll still be a fine appointment.

God, imagine if 5 seconds after Rafa joined us some mouthbreather shouted "hey Rafa, say fuck the mackems please!". Embarrassing.

Filthy little bastard sometimes isn't he.

Something is telling me this guys agent is shopping him around looking to cash in on his one high scoring season.
-
I'd love to see Spurs get absolutely humped.
-
I don't rate him at all, but even I would be surprised if he had to go to the bottom of the championship to find a job after the Wales media love in of the last 2 years.

These clubs sack their manager to appease the fans and then realise they're not that attractive. You're bottom of the league with no money, only someone desperate would take on that situation.

Not worthy of a thread - 2018 FIFA World Cup edition

I think Italy would be too embarrassed to take part. -
I saw Chris Coleman at a press conference in the last week saying he wants to manage a CL club, bemoaning the fact he's not going to get that opportunity in England(so unfair!), and saying he'll probably have to go abroad to do it. So ofcourse he's now interested in Sunderland.
-
He's right for once tbh, if a club is hesitating and chasing other managers when he is there ready to take the job, then it's not a good sign for him. I think it's Everton that is coming across as arrogant, this new owner seems to have unrealistic expectations when it comes to who they can attract.
-
The thing I like about that is that they were given a bit of hope early on.

Just shows how competitive the sport is now. Maybe one day every game will finish 0-0 and we'll be at maximum competitiveness.
-
I don't watch any other leagues these days so I can't compare, I just know the premier league has been shocking so far this season, there's too many teams playing negative defensive football.
-
Very few flair players in the game these days, or coaches that want flair players.

In terms of a spectacle it's dog shit outside of Man City and Spurs at the moment. Liverpool and Arsenal are ok to watch but their style is hyped up. After that there's there's nothing, and far too many managers are getting credit for being organised and defensive and nothing more, it's the easiest way to play.
