Richards is totally unrealistic. Even if Man City accepted a bid it would be Rooney mark 2, Chelsea would be in there and i reckon Man U would be too, possibly even Pool aswell.

It could be a good move tbh. Beye is competent in the middle and because with Keegans teams have a high line i think Beyes athletisism could be useful in there. I certainly wouldn't want to see him REPLACE Beye though.

How about Kenwyne Jones when the mackems get relegated? I think the young chap has alot of potential, big, strong, athletic, decent technique, good in the air. Perfect if we're going to play a wing game. I also noticed that he has 10 assists this season... for SUNDERLAND. Impressive. I would love Carrick here and i think he would be a great signing, although the reported price tag does put me off a bit. It's is £6m to high IMO.

Martins, as much as he frustrates me he is a match winner on his day. Owen is past it IMO, no pace, no strength, bad link up play, i just think he's lost it and that we're flogging a dead horse.

If the fans can't get behind an appointment like this then they need to give their heads a shake. We aren't going to get Mourinho and they're rightfully avoiding Shearer - who is still mates with a number of the players, it's too soon for him.

As great as Lippi and Van Gaal would be they aren't realistic IMO. Martin Jol would be the best choice, he plays good football, finished 9th 5th and 5th with Spurs, very narrowly missing out on top 4, and has the experiance of managing a club similar to ours in terms of money and ambition. Personally i don't see why people would consider Mark Hughes a better option.

Sven is doing fantastic considering he had to almost build a squad from scratch when he arrived. And City in full flow are very impressive, i can't say the same for any other non-top 4 team.

There's only one winner there, Sven. None of the rest will lose as they will float up and down midtable and be hailed as great managers purely because they're British.

You've got to ignore it. Newcastle can't do right by most of these people and the club and fans will be slagged off no matter what, even if we break the top 4 and become a force we'll be slagged off for spending money etc. You've especially got to try and ignore what fans of other clubs say aswell, football fans are generally angry little fuckers and they treat football like a war, using every situation to try and get one over "the enemy". You can't take what these people say seriously.
