  1. I don’t see what was significant about the follow through? His foot touched Vardy’s foot, it wasn’t a high or a hard tackle. If that is a foul then sliding tackles should just be outlawed.
  2. That’s a crazy decision, it’s not even a foul IMO.
  3. Kimbo

    Sunderland

Perhaps they’re united by a love of Adam Johnson.
  4. Nice of his son to let him know about all the mean things being said about him on a website he apparently doesn't use.
  5. Rafa's reputation is weirdly low, he just seems very unpopular outside of the clubs he has managed. When his name comes up in regard to the Spurs job he is dismissed with no discussion, when really they should be falling over themselves to hire him. Coming here and going to China probably didn't do wonders for his reputation as a top club manager (not that Spurs are a top club, they're certainly not).
  6. Son crying. Lovely stuff.
  7. Pleased Spurs lost that.
  8. Refs make it up as they go along. Traore should be off.
  9. I think people in football want anonymity on social media removed and they think things like this will pressure the companies. I rarely see them acknowledge the wider subject of internet anonymity though. It’s a big topic that goes way beyond footballers being abused. I’m assuming that’s what they want, it often comes up and I can’t see what other aim they have.
  10. The only protest that matters is an empty stadium and not giving them any money, my guess is these 6 clubs will be as useless as us in that regard. Kroenke will care as much as Ashley about people gathering outside the stadium and shouting.
  11. I can't help but think about Mike Ashley and the way the media has defended him consistently over the last 10+ years. It's only very recently that they discovered he was a bad egg, seemingly because Steve Bruce must be defended and Ashley is a good way to deflect criticism. Now suddenly fans and the media are united in saving football. It's perverse. Burn it all down.
  12. I’ve never really understood the idea that those clubs created inequality. It’s not like the other rich clubs haven’t been able to compete financially. The amount teams like Man U, Barca, Real, and Juve spend is disgusting. Chelsea and Man City merely added to the number of super rich clubs.
  13. His family own the club though.
  14. It’s embarrassing the way they capitulate. It was the same with big picture, they back down without even trying to argue their case. Anyway, until next year...
  15. With all the extra revenue I could see their B teams dominating domestically. Such a scenario would absolutely murder the credibility of the premier league.
  16. Spurs being in a super league would be hilarious. They have 2 league titles in their history. I’m happy for them to go ahead with it as long as it isn’t alongside the usual premier league. They have to choose which one to compete in, they can’t have both. Also if they do leave the premier league and want to rejoin in the future, they have to work their way up the pyramid.
  17. Lovely to see a big Welsh defender pretending to cry on the floor to get a South American forward booked.
  18. I hope everyone at home was stood in respectful silence there.
  19. Nice to see Palace getting smashed. Hodgson isn’t an awful manager like Bruce but he is lucky fucker to be where he is in the table. His team is poor and they look to murder every game.
  20. I doubt anyone will pay what Levy will want.
  21. The horse torturers love the Royal family, they're probably wondering how life can continue right now.
  22. It’s amazing what people in the football media don’t know about the sport. Jamie O’Hara didn’t know who “the old lady” was recently, and when he got told he acted like it was an obscure term. Half of these people are stealing a living.
