  1. Ah fuck that. I´ve been away for 6 days visiting Amsterdam ( great city, will visit again) and didn´t have the internet there so I was literally dying with anticipation upon coming home to log on and see all the forum headlines and posts. And what has changed in the past 6 days? Absolutely nothing except for the Gervinho situation moving from "I'll reveal my decision soon" to "It´s probably an English club" well thanks for that you cockteasing fuck. I really hate the transfer window =_=
  2. Search for The Portland Timbers PK Against DC United on your favorite tubing site. Wonder if any ref in the prem would be brave enough to do that

Off a West Ham forum Do you endorse the board's decision to appoint Sam Allardyce as West Ham United's new manager? votes 378 Yes 85% No 6% Undecided 7% Damn, didn´t expect that But then again, our poll on this forum when we hired him up must have been similar.

Elkjær was a legend. Smoked a pack a day and got in all sorts of trouble one falling out with the legendary coach Hennes Weisweiler earned a legendary status in Denmark: Weisweiler approached Elkjær and said that he had been informed that the player had spent the night at a nightclub in the company of a bottle of whiskey and a lady, and wanted to know it that was true. Elkjær replied that it was a lie, in fact it was a bottle of vodka and TWO ladies. What a guy
  5. Bullshit, we wouldn't get 4.5m for him. English, check English, check English, check Well I see no reason why we wouldn´t
  6. Yet we didn´t win a single game where he didn´t start. Accrington Stanley ? if your counting cups League games without Nolan: Newcastle 2 - 2 Wigan Newcastle 1 - 1 Chelsea WBA 3 - 1 Newcastle Tottenham 2 - 0 Newcastle Villa 1 - 0 Newcastle Newcastle 0 - 0 Man U Chelsea 2 - 2 Newcastle Newcastle 3 - 3 WBA 5 points in 8 league games without him. Sure those are some tricky fixtures and there are players more deserving of the player of the year award but I'm tired of people calling him shit and ineffective. The lad has scored 30 goals in 80 games the past 2 seasons, give him a little bit of fucking credit.

  8. Dno, it´s a bith of both really. Reading their forum a lot of people understand him wanting a new challange and to play in the Premier league. Even tough we aren´t in the Champ league he´d be guaranteed to play in a very competitive league with some top top clubs and that´s something he needs to do in order to improve as a player. They are mainly pissed at the price, 4.3m for a player that has been instrumental to their success chipping in with 20 goals and 20 assists over the past 2 seasons and now a member of the French setup, it´s an absolute steal.

  14. I'm absolutely gutted about all of this, really like Barton and thought he was sensational last season. I can still understand where the club is coming from, he´s had ONE good season for us and during his first 3 full seasons he only featured in 47 games. I don´t think he has the right to demand a 4 year contract given his injury and discipline record. Hasn´t Mike Ashley said that he wants to ensure our financial security and reduce the wage vs turnover ratio, you can see why he´d be hesitant to tie up an aging relatively injury prone (at least in recent years) hothead for 4 years on wages we can barely afford to give. Personally I´d sign him up for 4 years as I don´t think there is any chance he'll pull a Butt, Smith or Geremi on us but I guess it´s something the board isn´t willing to risk. Lets hope they settle this and go for a 2+1 contract or something that works for all parties involved.
  15. Picked up my kit this morning at the post office and naturally I immediately had change of clothes. Afterwards I went to the grocery store and there were only like 5 people there, then at the register when I was paying this insanely enthusiastic guy ran across the whole store (even had to jump over some restricted tape thingy) and was like "WOAH IS THAT THE NEW SHIRT?" "What´s your name?" "You on the Icelandic Newcastle Facebook?" "Need to sign up and come on a group trip" etc. Then we exchanged some dialogue before parting tough he still managed to shout from distance "AND I LOVE THE NAME ON THE BACK OF YOUR SHIRT, HE'LL COME GOOD ONCE HE´S FIT" (37 Ben Arfa). What a cool guy

  18. A lot of ITK reporting that Ashley Young to Liverpool is good as done. Wonder how they'll lineup next year if they get Young + Adam Suarez Young Kuyt Adam/Lucas Gerrard Meireles This would be their strongest first XI imo. Hard to see Kenny dropping their record 35m signing to the bench tough.
  19. In which case why would we agree a fee with his club? It´s Mike Ashley we´re talking about
  20. Ludovic Obraniak (left winger / attacking central midfielder) Would be a good signing, out of contract this summer as well.
  21. Hmm wonder which game to watch Thinking of Wolves - Blackburn since both teams are in danger of relegation but then I highly doubt 2 of Birmingham, Blackbool and Wigan will win their games. So that game probably won´t mean anything. Guess I'll be switching beetween Man U - Blackpool and Wolves - Blackburn. Really, really, reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyy hope that Blackburn go down.
