Weren´t they in for Phil Jones? Skrtel is shit and Carra is getting old, guess they'll spend 10-15m on a quality DC

Manchester United. New home kit has been released ! Black shirt, black shorts, black socks and a whistle

Doesn't surprise me, I was having a hard time believing they would abandon the 4-5-1 formation that has been so successful for them in order to acommidate Bendtner.

Thought he was class whenever he played for the national team and was by far your best player during the 06 World Cup, a shame for the national team more than anything that he wasn´t able to keep fit.

Saw Nike shoes in that exact design in some store the other day, regret not buying as they were absolutely lush.

Can still remember his debut goal (for Spurs) against Liverpool in the first round, was sure he´d be a massive success there. Would gladly take him back, thought he was our best player during the relegation season.

Poland international Lukasz Piszczek, 10 other players get suspended terms for match-fixing By Associated Press, Published: June 27 WROCLAW, Poland — Eleven soccer players have been fined and given suspended prison sentences for their role in fixing a top-tier game during the 2005-06 season in Poland. Among those punished Monday was Lukasz Piszczek, a midfielder who has appeared in 18 games for Poland and plays for the German club team Borussia Dortmund. He drew a one-year prison term suspended for three years and was fined $33,000 for his involvement in bribing players from Cracovia Krakow. He was trying to help his then-team Zaglebie Lubin advance to the UEFA Cup. The other players found guilty and a middleman all received suspended terms between one and two years. Polish prosecutors investigating soccer corruption have charged more than 300 people since 2005. Have a feeling this is just the beginning, supposedly matchfixing has been going on for years and the corruption runs deep within the FA´s veins. Piszczek's involvement is supposed to be minimal tough, that is he wasn't a big player but knew about the matchfixing it and didn't report it. Matchfixer or not I just hope this doesn't mean he'll miss out in Euro 2012 as he's probably one of our top 3 players at the moment.

Aye,signing a midfielder who scored more than our entire midfield put together last season has got me really worried. Maybe if we replaced our 12 goal top scorer with a 2 goal a season player in Cabaye I would be really worried. Erm, Cabaye has scored 19 goals in his last two seasons at Lille. All the "12 goal midfielder Nolan" is such bullshit, at least half his goals came when playing as a second striker leeching on Carroll. He gets absolutely murdered when playing as a MC in a 4-4-2 and even if we'll play 4-5-1 I´d much rather see Ben Arfa in the hole than Nolan. A club aiming for financial stability would be crazy to sign Nolan on a 50k/week deal until his midthirties, sad to see him leave and would have liked to keep him aboard for another season but in the long-term this was the right time to sell.

They needed a new goalkeeper to be fair, also they made about 65m last summer after the sale of Ronaldo so they are due a little spending spree.

Looks like Swansea will sign Grzegorz Sandomierski from Jagiellonia Białystok, the fee rumored to be around 3m. A bit surprised that a newly promoted team would spend 3m on a foreign 21 year old goalie eventough Sandomierski is a very promising player that already has two full seasons under his belt and played three games for the national team. Reminds me a lot of the Fabianski transfer, same age and similar profile. Fabianski had even been voted the league´s best goalkeeper two years in a row before his move to Arsenal, unfortunately he hasn´t made much progress at Arsenal and now at the age of 26 it doesn´t look like he'll fulfill the expectations made of him. Talking about Polish goalkeepers, I'm surprised no PL club has made an offer for Artur Boruc who will definitely be leaving Fiorentina this summer. A fantastic goalkeeper and by far the best Polish goalkeeper IF properly motivated. With the Euro 2012 coming up I can only hope he'll find an ambitious club with an experienced and disciplined manager who can get the best out of him. And to cap off my Polish report it has been confirmed that Adrian Mierzejewski will join Trabzonspor for an Extraklasa record fee of 4.7m. The skillful midfielder had a very impressive season and was voted player of the year despite playing in a relatively poor Polonia side that finished 7th in the league. Don´t think he's worth 4.7m or good enough for the champ league but Trabzonspor really likes Poles apparently, having signed Arkadiusz Głowacki and the Brozek brothers last season.

Nawt special. The third kit is class though, will definitely buy one at the end of the transfer window, hoping for a 15-20m #9 striker to be signed (already got the new home shirt with 37 Ben Arfa). Those kits are quite nice to be honest

rorysmith_tel Rory Smith That Marveaux to #nufc deal has surprised me, to say the least. Heard about 7pm last night he'd failed #LFC medical thanks to groin. 18 Jun rorysmith_tel Rory Smith On Marveaux, all I know is I'm reliably informed he did fail a medical. #LFC thought they had him. #nufc building good - if fragile - squad. 18 Jun Probably been posted but whatever. I'm really starting to hate twitter, makes your head spin round and round and worst of all I'm getting addicted to all of this trash gossip. Won't make it through the summer

Ouch, wouldn´t want to have Bolton´s fixtures. Five of the top 6 in their first 7 games. -
Hope we can sign Drogbar this summer

You would think that with a player that goes on strike in order to get sold etc would have bad influence on the dressing room. Then I remember reading in an interview with Gylfi Sigurdsson earlier this season, when asked what player he liked the most personally at Hoffenheim he answered Demba Ba (also said he was the funniest guy in the dressing room). Sigurdsson was at Reading from 05 and his best friend there was Simon Church so he probably has a similar mentality to the young English lads today. Don´t think we signed a trouble maker who'll have a negative impact in the dressing room like
