I honestly think the job of the England manager is one of the most attractive jobs on football, media constantly on your back with their shit, half-arsed players who think their reputation alone is enough to make it on international level, etc.. don't see the national team winning anything in the next few years (or decades) if i'm being honest.

Not much of a blow for us, that's the advantage of having useful squad players in the team like him. nice guy and hardworking player, hope he comes back better from this.

I want to be angry with Pardew but i keep looking at the table and thinking "the man knows what he's doing". As much as i (and i'm sure most posters here) like Ben Arfa and are aware of how talented he is and what he can bring to the team, its the results that matter, and if were getting them with Ryan Taylor and James Perch then great!

Enrique not playing so i've got N.Taylor coming on, 102 points in total despite having Huth (-2) and Ireland who only played a half..not bad.

There was a chance for them in front of the John Hall stand, everyone at the gallowgate thought that must be them scoring, yet somehow all i saw was Krul on the floor with the ball in his hand, looking forward to see what happened in the highlights.

Ben Arfa off for McClean who's got 8 and will probably get 2 or 3 bonus..not bad.

He gets chances which is always good to see, missed a sitter but made up for it with the goal, hopefully now he can get some training sessions and get used to life here, looks really promising.

Decent game, solid and was really good in the first half, cracking shot as well.

Just back from the game, massive massive win for us, we had some scares but eventually got the 3 points, the two Demba's were terrific, considering that they've just came back from Africa that was a very impressive performance from both, they both seem willing to work with each other and help each other score, which is a big plus. Other decent players were Colo (as always) Santon and Jonas, not to mention Krul who made some fine saves, Obertan was pretty good as well which was surprise! only negative i can think of was Simpson, can't believe he was backing off even Heskey. How fucking thick was taking N'Zogbia off for Heskey? gave us a massive boost too go on and win the game.
