Tbf to Henry, he did all he can to Arsenal, he needed a new challenge and was already told he will NOT be getting a new contract come next season, i can't really blame him for leaving, at the very least Arsenal got some money out of him..beats moving on free next year
Duff is even more of a waste of money than Luque tbh...
No he's not, put aside how bad his debut season was, at least its a season of some description.
Duff still holds value, at least he's playable and not a liability. If Duff wasn't injured and we put him up for sale tomorrow, i'd say we'd even make money off him.
Actually Luque got more goals/assists than Duff in less games..
That just made my day!
Fucking brilliant news, i always rated Luque highly before he came here, and regardless of what he does now (after being given a chance by Allardyce) at the very least he won't leave without us ever knowing if he couldve done better under better manager(s) than Roeder and Souness.
He will be a very usefull squad player if we decide to keep him, and i love the fact that unlike most of our former manager, Sam Allardyce is willing to take on so called "lost causes" and at the very least (try) and get the best out of them.
Pearson, Clark and Roeder must be gutted
Carrick , Barton, Parker, Jenas, etc..
Compared to:
Rio Ferdinand, John Terry,Jaime Carragher Ledley King, Sol Campbell, Jonthan Woodgate, Titus Bramble, etc..
Sorry I wasn't clear enough.
There was a debate going on recently about who would make it into the England first team first.
The Spurs guys thought Huddlestone had a better chance than Taylor.
Needless to say I found this article quite interesting thats all.
If thats the case than Taylor is far better then Huddlestone..
The thing is, Taylor plays in a position that England have more than enough players playing in already, Huddlestone on the other hand have a bigger chance of getting in not because he's a playing in a position that can still be filled.
