  1. haha, the only consolation, 'we ootsang there fans'  ??? why sing, when you can enjoy a perfect display from a real footballing side.

twats, they think they are some innocent little fuckers they deserved to get ripped by our fans, judging from their pathetic showing from their team.

  2. They are a load of twats, i had a chuckle when the guy behind me chanted, 'ooooooh its great to be a protestant!' i was sitting near them and i could hear what they were saying back at him, was along the lines of 'oooooo fack off, we piss on the queen' or something to that effect, he was so drunk he was slurring his words, couldnt quite catch it.

  3. Depends if we can stay fit, we have a much better forward line than any of those teams apart from Spurs who i see as equal, Man City have shit strikers like, diabolical so they wont finish above us. Villa are too inexperienced so they won't finish off games well, probably draw too many games. Everton are a fluctuating team and do well one year and are crap the next so im not expecting them to be brilliant plus with the same players eventhough they lost one of their best in Fernandes i think people know what to expect of them, i say they will finish around 10th. As for West Ham and Pompy both will do crap, neither teams have signed decent enough players for Europe but Pompy have a good defence its other areas they lack in, but both of these teams have been too desperate in the market and i dont think harry has the tactics or nouse to pull off another high finish. i expect Blackburn to finish 9th. If we sign 2/3 more defenders we are challenging for 5th, no doubt, one midfielder wouldnt be too bad either, but defence is the priority.

  4. Well this could be the 'BIG SIGNING' Mort and Ashley have been banging on about, he says we're going to shock the football world or something to that effect, he might go for someone like Aimar or D'Allessandro but id like to see him go for someone with a bit more pace than either of those 2.

SWP maybe, but i don't think he and Dyer are the same, SWP being a winger, whereas Dyer preferred to burst through the middle of the park, and running into the box taking away other defenders.

  5. Really good first half, played some really good football. Roz looked class and really composed but the defence fell apart when he left, those 10 mins with taylor looked good too. Geremi, Solano, Milner, Martins and Butt were awesome. Martins held up play beautifully and showed real flair, and for some reason his touch was absolutely flawless he looked in great shape. Butt was getting stuck in and Nobby's and Geremi's vision were brilliant. Once again Milner was a warhorse battling away and put in some decent crosses. Have to hand it to Luque did well to score the goals and did some good things, his confidence still needs rebuilding though. i liked the way he kissed the badge and saluted the fans, was really good thing to do.

their fans were total twats too. singing KEANO every 3 fucking seconds, when they scored it was like they had won the Champions League they didn't care they were still losing. found it funny when the guy behind me chanted God save the queen, and 'i'm protestant till i die' at them  ;D

  6. Well, our central midfield cover is poor, and my suggestion is to get 1 defencive midfielder, 2 left backs, 1 right back and at least 1 more central defender.

5 new players before September 1st.

I think we can conclude with the fact that Newcastle United is cursed. Joey Barton plays one and a half match and gets a broken metatarsal from a friendly game against Carlisle. How is tat possible?

    :frantic: >:( :tickedoff:

    obviously quite possible

  7. Sams new system of play is being learned by the players at the moment, it will take a few games for the system to pay real dividends, this is what the pre-seasons are about, especially for new managers getting used to the players and the players getting used to the new styles of coaching and play, if this match was 3 months into the future (FA Cup for example) it doesn't matter which team we would have put on the pitch we would have beaten Carlisle 4-0 probably. Also pre-seasons aren't competitive really and as Sam said we have the skill but yesterday we were a bit 'misguided'.
