Isn't the current Brazil manager the guy that doesn't believe in positions (or positional football, at least)? Some video was linked to it and all the football hipsters call it 'relationism' (ffs). Sounds like it could either be class or absolutely shite.
-
Most of the lads in our squad will have probably tried to shut down their partner's/family members' accounts since this news broke rather than some type of emotional reaction
-
Iirc, Chelsea had to go over Enzo's release clause to be able to pay in installments. Or that could be total shite
-
Don't release clauses have to be paid in full? Or that's at least a very consistent condition? There are very few clubs who can do that with £100m.

His upgrade is already here. Second half of the season, we'll be talking about how much of a BALLER (the certified kind) Hall is.

Stoic Sandro proving to be a real man.

I love him as a character, like. Easily one of the most likeable players we've ever had and helps to preserve the DNA of the club.

Who is the current ultimate Eddie Howe player in world football, if money/FFP was no object?
-
He's finding himself in all sorts of positions at the moment. Mad as he was often very static for large periods of last season. A lot of it is decoy stuff, I'm sure, but he's down the touchline, in the 6-yard box, and even showing up in centre mid too.

Watching the extended highlights and Tonali seemed very involved. Definitely could've dived in more for the block but he was no more at fault for that goal than at least 2 other players. -

Not sure how. Whenever I see his Instagram stories it's usually him drinking shitloads of wine and eating huge steaks -
Spurs' squad, attack-wise, feels thin. Any prolonged injury before January to Son or Maddison feels like it'd cause them a big problem. The latter usually gets something that keeps him out for a month or two per season iirc.

That assist. Ffs.

I think Anderson's lack of pace without a better supporting left back or LCM will be a bit of an issue. He's got good feet and touch that you want on the edge of the box rather than coming in from out wide. -
That pass to Isak was absolutely class, to be fair to him. Kinda love when he goes rogue Shearer in a game and is in the 6 yard box.

Must be fucking tragic to watch that most weeks. It wasn't so bad 10 years ago when defensive football was much more prevalent but looks prehistoric in today's league with lots of good footballing teams. -

His assist at Chelsea was good -
Thought he'd had a decent second half up until the goal but he was left a lot of space to cover for it iirc. Dodgy stream so maybe missed some of his bad bits.

Solid result with context. Gutted Isak didn't grab the hat trick. -

Did switch to 4-2-3-1 quite a few times last season, tbf. -

Spaces will open up as they tire. Need to make sure we don't concede a stupid goal in the opening 10, keep working them. Wilson for Anderson feels likely considering how Howe switched Isak's position. -

Shoving an AM into the team isn't the silver bullet, man. Passers need players to create space for them to actually play balls into, otherwise you're banking it all on perfect passes. West Ham stifled a very creative Brighton this way. Deep sides are hard to play against and it requires more than 1 player to get through them.
